Min Jae abruptly stepped away from Bo Ra's reach. His movement was so quick that Bo Ra almost lost her balance. She stumbled a bit but luckily, she didn't completely fall. Min Jae stared at the bewildered woman. After blinking a few times, he finally regained his composure. A dark aura slowly clothed him
"Mrs. Gum, your actions are becoming inappropriate." Min Jae said in a low and deep voice. His eyes were were like glaciers piercing through hers and in that moment, Bo Ra felt shivers suddenly run down her spine. The cool evening air fanned her face and she felt goosebumps form on her skin.
"I am not interested in whatever it is you have to say." Min Jae straightforwardly said. His jaw tensed as he spoke. "Your distasteful behavior is utterly disappointing. I advise that you save yourself some dignity and leave before you further embarrass yourself." He continued through gritted teeth.
Bo Ra clenched her fists tightly as she immediately masked her wavering expression. F***! She didn't expect him to be this difficult. After all, Na Rae had already seduced him. And if her sister could do it, then she definitely could do it as well! How then was she different from Na Rae thet he refused her?! Bo Ra cursed internally. She was very confident that she would have him. But after directly facing his rejection, she suddenly felt unsure anymore.
Nevertheless, Bo Ra persisted. If Mr. Lee will be difficult, then so be it. Victory would only taste sweeter the moment she succeeds. And tonight, she will make sure that she does.
Bo Ra took a deep breath and calmed herself. Swallowing her fears, she managed to speak without stuttering. "Are you sure you don't want to hear it, Mr. Lee?" She crossed her arms as she challenged him. Bo Ra was losing control over the situation so she wanted to regain confidence and power. Her heart was rapidly beating but nonetheless, she tried her best to look calm and unfazed.
Min Jae scoffed upon realizing that this woman wanted to intimidate him. She just doesn't give up, does she? After being turned down, her face was still thick to even dare challenge him. Was she really that desperate? As if throwing herself at him wasn't enough... this woman was indeed prepared to use extreme measures.
Min Jae didn't reply immediately and somehow, this excited Bo Ra's heart. She smirked as she regained confidence upon assuming that he was finally ready to concede. Why else would he not respond?
Min Jae spared her another glance. His expression was tainted with disgust, as if he'd seen something ridiculous. Bo Ra immediately noticed this. However, before she could even begin to react, she was baffled to see Min Jae suddenly turning around to leave. He began walking away with his back facing her. He retreated without even saying a word. This caused Bo Ra to redden with frustration. And so before he could get away from earshot, Bo Ra firmly spoke.
"Don't act so clean, Mr. Lee." The woman growled. Her tone was certain and provocative. Min Jae on the other hand, continued to ignore her. He's had enough of this woman already and so before his temper could go get the best of him, he actually did her a favor of leaving himself.
Now infuriated than ever, Bo Ra finally snapped. "I know for a fact that you slept with my sister despite being married." She declared and as if on cue, Min Jae halted. Bullseye! Bo Ra simpered when she finally got his attention.
Min Jae turned to face the amused woman. He still looked composed over the distance, not showing any signs of being affected by her words. Regardless, Bo Ra was already overjoyed upon seeing him respond to this information. This was after all, her ultimate appeal. Beaming, Bo Ra enthusiastically answered one of the questions he had in mind. "Surprise! I'm Na Rae's elder sister. Small world huh?"
The corner of Min Jae's mouth twitched in annoyance. He stared at her. His eyes turned darker like an endless chasm. Seeing this, Bo Ra seemed to have no fear as she carelessly laughed at the man before her. "I actually thought you were a respectable man, Mr. Lee. Who knew that you actually f***** my sister on your wife's birthday! Don't you think that's more inappropriate?" She teased. "I personally think shameless would be a better term but... inappropriate is fine."
Min Jae snorted at Bo Ra's words. A few seconds of silence had passed before he finally addressed her. "Do you actually think you have what it takes to blackmail me, Mrs. Gum?" He asked before smiling sarcastically.

"I wasn't trying to blackmail you, Mr. Lee." Bo Ra replied. "As I said earlier, I was here to negotiate. Didn't I say that I have an offer for you to consider? I tried telling you, but you seem to have decisively turned down the chances of keeping my mouth shut."
Min Jae nodded. "Very well, do whatever you want." He said indifferently. Heck! He didn't even seem affected of her threats! Calmly, he continued. "I am not someone you can easily toy with, Mrs. Gum. Hopefully you've already had that in mind since the beginning."
"Oh I have, Mr. Lee. I hope aren't underestimating me as well." Bo Ra replied with her head held high. Her fists tightened. Sh**! This isn't how it was supposed to turn out!
