That night Su Lian couldn't fall asleep, she tossed in her sheets thinking about the meeting and the talk with Chris that she had in the afternoon.

She was struggling to make a decision. Although the obvious choice would be for her to refuse and stay where she is while her life continued on, was it the right thing to do?

Chris had given her so much and a branch of his company was now in crisis. As the managing director of Infinity Corporation, she had certain responsibilities. She knew that if she were to refuse and someone else went instead, she would be riddled with guilt and most, if not all the blame would be placed on her if something were to go wrong.

But going to China meant facing her past of imperfections and heartbreak. Why would she do that when her life here was perfect?

Her clothes were high-end fashion, the car she drove was the latest brand, her house was beautiful. She had her son, Chris, her grandmother and many great friends here. Her life was great.

Her life was in America.

She knew that she really was the best candidate to head the task, but she did not wish to return. She had finally moved on and started fresh.

But if she were to go back...

How would she face her little brother and all her friends she had abandoned without saying a word.

More importantly, what would she do if she ever saw 'him' again?

Not getting any sleep, Su Lian was a mess by the time the sun rose in the morning. She had a bad headache and had to call in sick for work.

Her baby boy was happy that his mom could stay home with him today making up for their missed lazy Sunday. They re-watched some old movies cuddling together on the couch while wearing onesie pajamas and eating a whole tub of ice cream.

Alice and Jane came visiting in the evening with some take-out chicken soup for their "sick" friend.
