His word finished, in the next moment his back was straight as a tall tree.
He pointed at the sky then pointed his finger directly at Zhi Rui's nose.
Zhi Rui's deep green eyes opened wide with urgency and her face scrunched
"HAAAAAAA!" She screamed
Materializing a wall of energy in front of herself.
Zhi Rui felt her hand burning, she clenched her teeth and jumped upwards.
an explosion resounded sending all the people watching ten meters away.
Standing above in the air Zhi Rui look down on the old man' location.
He thought the cloud of sand he created would blinf her vision a faint wheezing sound reached her ears and for a flash of a second a hole bore through the cloud of sand Zhi Rui saw through it the old man standing right under it.
With a savage snarl, Zhi Rui used her solid energy to bolt herself downwards, directly in the route of the transparent hot air.
Her eyes glowed red and she shoved her hand coated on solidified energy onto it.
It exploded burning her arm until the elbows and torching the kin on her face and shoulders.
She could've avoided it, but it'd prolong the fight.
She shortened their distance by a few meters, the elderly man's startled eyes and inclination backward told Zhi Rui his hit and run strategy, she didn't laugh, she didn't want to give him the chance of dodging.
She punched away and hit him in the chest but his jump backward reduced the impact and she only managed to latch a string onto him.
That' when she saw it, the devious glint on the old man's eyes.
He had opened his mouth midair, and Zhi Rui saw the mall sparkle inside.
it wasn't hot air like before, a ball of fire made completely of dense fire attributed energy was forming as he flew backwards. If that thing exploded, she would be launched away with serious injuries, if not dead.
In a second Zhi Rui thought of using the ghost ability she acquired on the pagoda, she used it only one time to stop that fighting couple from committing suicide.
But he was level three, an old, and experienced one, that kind of ability might fail against him.
As she thought, the ball of energy in his mouth was almost ready and it was going to burst through her punch and send her away.
Suddenly a thought struck her mind. ;she used the ghost to stun a weak expectation. the ghost-filled her mind with horror and stunned her in place.
Zhi Rui's mind worked at the speed of light. The expectator was the woman who she latched the string before. She willed it, and the woman's absurd scared shitless moment came to Zhi Rui and she induced it onto the old man.
His eyes trembled and his mouth went rigid, he was scared stunned.
Zhi Rui's punch came crashing down and she broke the through the jaw of the old man. Destroying the ball of fire inside. It imploded torching her skin black and destroying his jaw. The old man flew twenty meters away. His back went to the normal hunched state. Once he fell on the ground people in red robes jumped up on him and started to feeding him herbs and pills.
Her hand's skin was torched black. All her face had burnt wounds and her meat was showing through those injuries.
Her chest trembled as Zhi Rui smirked at the old man. When she punched down she made sure the explosion happened inside his mouth
The people watched with hock as the people in red robes tried to attach his jaw back in and heal it together but Zhi Rui could see it clearly the burnt marks on it wouldn't let that happen
"You managed to get it up old man I'll give you that." Zhi Rui chuckled and laughed out loud.
