Killing beasts of the second level throughout the night, it didn't look like she ever received any wounds But Zh Rui had watched as she fought and got punctured, slashed and crushed. She only needed to feed on blood, then she'd be back to normal almost instantly. Zhi Rui was astounded by the indestrucbaness of the etérnal race.
Even deeply hurt, if she didn't lose a limp then it didn't matter how grave, the wounds were, it didn't influence her movements at all.
Zhi Rui remembered when she tried to attack a level two mantis, it saw her first and tore deeply into her chest cutting all the way down to her waist But Ren Zu only counter-attacked and took its head off, ate its meat and healed.
'It's an absurd race, The goddess to make them was nuts.' Zhi Rui thouhgt.
"M-Miss, the monsters in this area were all killed." Still feeling the running frenzy inside of her, Ren zu said with wide open, hungry eyes.

"It's five am, the sun will soon come out." Zhi Rui took some clothes out of her pouch and threw to Ren Zu. "There's a small creek over there, wash up and change, do it fast, the backlash will come soon."
Ren Zu nodded with a forlorn smile and jumped away. She wanted to hut more with Zhi Rui...
Zhi Rui stood tall on the highest tree watching Ren Zu from afar.
'She's a monster. One night of hunting and she's already halfway to the third level...'
Zhi Rui smiled while looking a the silent dark sky. 'The slaves will reach the third level by the end of these four months. With what I managed to recruit and raise. I'll have a good standing in the underworld. Even if the other geniuses take and split all the other disciples, this small but elite group of mine will be more than enough to safely hunt and form a base, it would be even better if the geniuses don't take me as a real threat.

Her eyes widened, and looked where it came from, Ren Zu was jumping softly through the trees towards her, she was wearing the white robe Zhi Rui gave her, her black hair and dark red eyes came in gently. Although Disappointed, Ren Zu is glad Zhi Rui has fun in teasing her. She held herself together and followed with a smile.
Half an hour later, when the sun appeared. The smell she emanated disappeared and Ren Zu blacked out. falling to the ground.

At late noon Ren Zu woke up, They hunted for more beasts, while Zhi Rui watched over her and planned for the future. They did this two more times while going deeper into the forest, but the weak level two beats became too spread and scarce.
'She said that when she woke up, she was already at the first level. Then in two weeks, she reached the second level just by hunting the bests around the forest. Now, hunting unceasingly She's around ten to twenty percent away from the third level...'
"Ren Zu, What if you drink stronger blood? like level three beasts?"
"It'll take slightly longer to fuse with it and the backlash will last longer depending on the blood's essence's strength."
Zhi Rui nodded to herself. "Then let's go faster, I'll make you my strongest hidden card."

Ren Zu watched in awe as Zhi Rui brought them all down and threw the bodies to her.

"I just need to swallow the blood left for me in the inheritance. Only with it, I can evolve." Re Zu said slightly before dawn.

"I'll stay guard while you evolve, so just rest easy on the top of that tree." Zhi Rui pointed a the highest tree with a small branch under the tree's crown.
