Inside a bedroom at the tallest tower of the light sect, Sect leader sat on his golden chair. Looking at the servant on the door.
The servant could see everything as the sect leader was wearing a loose open robe. Showing his wrinkly old skin.
The sect leader lazily turned to look at his enormous bed, more precisely at the naked woman lying strewn on top of it.
"Did you hear that, my dear? A disciple cared enough to remember the tower maiden' status. Soon, you might be doing other things besides entertaining our elders."
He smiled sardonically.
The woman showed no reaction on the bed, lifeless, her slow breathing was the only signal she was alive
The sect leader snorted at the lack of reaction.
"This thing broke too easy, it normally takes a while for them to reach and state of indifference."
Sighing he looked at the servant who kept his head low all the time.
"If we suddenly show her publicly it'll be interpreted as what that girl implied is true. So make some appearance. Take some medicine up her tower for her health. She'll appear by the end of the tournament. Prepare a speech and make sure to put her on the line and don'1t let her speak nonsense".
The servant bowed more deeply, took three steps back then turned and got out.
The old sect leader nodded in appreciation."This is how you show respect." Getting up he threw his robe behind him, "Now how can I punish you for ignoring me? nah, let's just have one more round."

In the brightness of noon, the public trial of Wang Lei GU was happening.
Zhi Rui watched from the side, on top of Blackie. She saw as Lei walked With hands bounded behind her, she had tired swollen eyes. Elder Huang Held her in front of the entirety of the outer sect. Zhi Rui shook her head.
A dwelling of immortals, yet public executions is still the most advanced way of trial.

"Wang Lei Gu is judged guilty of helping her brothers to fabricate a drug banned from existence: The devil's will. Everybody here knows what happened because of it. Normally, death would be gifted without a second of hesitation. But she is the princess of an empire and is only seventeen. still young. Too Young. Unable to see the evil on her own brother. A child, just like you. that has been deceived and manipulated.
Lei Gu was dumbfounded. Until a moment ago her sentence was the sealing of her core and expulsion from the Light sect. She had even already prepared to scream that Zhi Rui was the real culprit for the tragedy. but the direction of sect leaders' speech was confusing her.
"This girl," sect leader pointed at Lei gu "Is nothing more than a victim. If your parents did a crime and ordered you to do a job seemingly harmless, only for you to find out that you were covering their crime and you're being blamed for it. Wouldn't you consider it unfair at the very least?"
The outer disciples were confused, it was supposed to be a public punishment. It was said so by the elder Huang. Right before the sct leader came.

"I will not tolerate injustice of any kind in this sect. I won't blame a child for the mistakes of their guardians. Wang Lei Gu will be held accountable for her sins the way a child should." She massaged her pulses. A look of disbelief on her face.
"Child your duty will be to abstain from the worldly pleasures. And you'll be denied to go back to your empire unless guarded by the sect. Everything you have will be confiscated. Do you accept this condition?" with a dazed look Lei gu Nodded.
"Good!" the sect leaders say, he embraced the girl tightly. "Now, it'll be hard to redeem yourself. But you'll pull through it, with me by your side"
Everybody was still confused. But elder Huang started to clap and everybody else clapped too. After a stare from him.
In midsts of the claps and screams, sect leader whispered something on Lei Gu's ears. Then he released Lei Gu, She looked up and nodded firmly.
He opened a warm smile.
Everybody assumed she was answering his claim that she'll pull through. But for some people. The people that catch small details, saw clearly the sect leaders mouth whispering.
Zhi Rui saw it and turned to Zhun Xuying. seeing a sour look on her eyes Zhi Rui thought she saw it too. Then looking at the crowd, she spotted an uncommon person in the crowd. She was not cheering or praising like others. She had a rotten expression, she suddenly looked up and met eyes with Zhi Rui.
Zhi Rui smiled gently and waved her hands
Xun Lee, the girl forming a group with the newbies, went back to her usual cheerful expression and waved cheerfully.
Zhi Rui looked at the sect leader.
'You old dog. You have the worst cautious trait. A newbie merely asks about a known powerful position, and you already are sending someone to go after her. Pathetic'
"Zhi Rui I assume?" Suddenly somebody patted her shoulders, Zhi Rui turned to see a bearded man holding a letter for her. Zhi Rui nodded and opened the letter right away.
She frowned on what's written. In a bold letter. With small splashes of ink as if written, it read,'Urgent, Come to the forest by the night ' she could feel that the one who wrote, was angry. And she recognized her brothers' handwriting.
'My dear brother came back, a? how thoughtful." Zhi Rui grinned.
