Small-sized, Medium-sized, Large-sized, and Disaster Class demons can be subjugated, and depending upon their ranks the reward can differ. But the choice of which type of demon to be subjugated depends solely on the hunter’s own judgment.
So, there are no subjugation requests, but still hunters would stop by the hunters association before heading out.
That is to confirm the stock of demon materials already present.
Price increases for materials which are scarce, while conversely for materials which are in a surplus, the price decreases.
Hunters gather at the association to check the available stock, so to make sure what kind of material they are going to after.
One day, two young ladies visited the hunter association.

They were Maria and Miranda.
Strangely, since joint training between the Advanced Magic Academy and the Knight Academy, these two often went on demon subjugations together.

It wasn’t Maria and Miranda who reacted the most to those words, but the hunters around them.

Such bumpkins couldn’t help themselves but talk trash about the hunters of this country, and most of all they were calling out to Maria and Miranda with vulgar eyes.
The anger of the hunters of the royal city was about to reach a boiling point against these men who didn’t know their place, at that time.

In contrast to the surroundings where the anger gauge was rising, the ones who were called out with those vulgar voices didn’t seem to care at all.
Rather hearing this kind of speech, as if straight out of some bad story, they began to laugh.
After laughing for a while they lost interest and moved on to the bulletin board where the material prices were written.
For them this story was already finished.
But, there’s no way the men who got laughed at are going to let that slide.

When they enthusiastically set foot inside the Royal Capital’s Hunter Association while looking down on others, and saw adult women hanging around like it was the most natural thing in the world.
That’s why they judged that the level of Royal Capital’s hunter association isn’t high.

And soon their resistance ceased as they got hit by a scabbard and slumped down.
The hunters around them who saw that seized the men who caused the commotion.
Thus, a commotion occurred in the association in the morning, and Maria and Miranda were involved.
“We need to tell everyone about this later, right?”(Maria)

Due to that, laughter broke out among the hunters in their surroundings.
