Not all the demons had been eliminated.

The remaining demons had fled towards Elhead.

The army of Elhead would encounter the demons if they were sent out to search for them.

If the army’s defenses were broken through, the demons could go directly to the Kingdom of Elhead.

In this case, Elhead would become a battlefield.

“Ogu! The gate to Elhead is about to open!”

“Wait for a moment! They may not appear in Elhead! Maybe we can catch up with them with your floating magic. Follow us, we must capture them!”

Originally, I intended to tell him that we could wait for the demons in Elhead, but Ogu believed that the demons might not appeared in Elhead. He wanted to catch the demons before they arrived at Elhead.

Virtually, it was better to follow the demons, but…

“What if we fail to catch the demons?”

“If we fail, I will tell the other countries that we are in an unusual situation. Damn! I have to spend extra time catching them at the last moment!”

I could tell from Ogu’s tone that he had become quite impatient.

He seemed to be anxious because Elhead might be attacked by the demons.

I had to persuade the members of the United Army before flying away.

“We’re going to catch the escaped demons. Please go back to the capital after you have killed the demons around you!”

I put the floating magic on everyone in the Ultima Magic Regiment after making sure that Ogu had sent orders to the United Army again with the sound reinforcement magic.

I was the only one who could use the floating magic.

Although they could take actions separately if they had learnt the floating magic, I hadn’t known how to teach them yet. That was why I have to enchant them.

At least, eyes that could search for the targets carefully were needed as they would enable all members to track the demons.

“Where on earth are they?”

“Hey! Which direction?”

The scouting force released the magic for searching enemies in the indicated direction, but they found no demons. It seemed that the demons had run out of their magic scope.

The scouting force asked Ogu to locate the escaped demons.

It was hard for other people to associate their abrasive attitude with their respect for Ogu.

Maybe they were quite worried because their country was at risk.

“OK! That direction!”

“Got it! We’re moving! Use all your strength!”

We launched what should have been the last running fight with the demons.

“Everyone, search the surroundings with your magic for searching enemies! Do not overlook any demons!”

“Roger that!”

After that, we had to find ways to communicate with brother Gic and others via wireless communication machines.

If succeeded, we could contact them immediately and urge them to take precautionary measures.

If I only gave the special magic device to Elhead, they would be linked with the demons. They might speak out the words that they had no option but to encircle the demons as expected. Because of these reasons, I hesitated about giving them the wireless communication machines.

However, they would be in trouble if I didn’t do that.

Now that they were not led by us, we could turn a blind eye to the wireless communication machines, a special treatment given to them.

At present, we could only pray that the army of Elhead wouldn’t encounter the demons.

We were tracking the demons. We were slow because we had to search the area carefully.

We wanted to find them as soon as possible.

However, we could not try our best.

I always thought that we would fail to catch the demons in this way.

There were about 50 escaped demons that had great power.

Eliminating them all would take us a long time.

How far we had to go? Should we go on searching for them?

Were we chasing after them in the right direction?

Being anxious, everyone was concentrating on searching for the enemy with their eyes never missed even the slightest clue.

We wouldn’t have been thrown into a passive situation if someone went to Elhead through the gate.

The army of Elhead had known that Shin and others were fighting with the demons, but they couldn’t explain the situation to them clearly.

Elhead would vanished in this world if it was thrown into a historic situation.

We wouldn’t let it happen, so moved to the street to look of the demons from the route to the old capital.

“Why don’t the demons gather in the old capital?”

“How many times have you complained?”

“I feel helpless. If they gather in the old capital, we will be the first to reach there.”

Ziegfeld had complained many times.

Maybe that was what Christina, who had heard those words, thought. She tried to calm Ziegfeld down.

“Calm down.”

Miranda, who acted with them, comforted the two that were still quarrelling.

Miranda, who had invented jump attack, a new tactic, which contributed a lot to eliminating the disaster-level demons, was an extremely outstanding soldier. She directed the students to take refuge orderly, which was more important than the work of leading them to the shelter of the other two.
