Registration was being conducted at the colosseum.
Today is the Mono section, so the registrations are being done one by one.
Here, I registered as Dalia-san without much difficulty and received an explanation of when it is my turn etc.
It seems the number of participants this year is very high, so there will be 8 blocks of battle royale and 2 winners from each block can move on to the second round.
As for why 2, maybe because it really is a shame if 2 very strong people ended up in the same block and take down each other, or because there is no time to do 16 blocks, there are various opinions.

After that it was like an elimination match with Hariu and Suzumoto cutting down the remaining.
This was done so quickly there was nothing to be learnt from it.
And just like that, it became only the 3 of them remaining, Katori resigned and the end.
In that time, it seems the commentators had no time to comment, there was no analysis at all.

And then the remaining three people stared off with Hagsaki-kun and Kariya, then a knight-looking man finally moved.
He charged straight at Kariya with his sword ready. At the same time, a bandit-looking woman also tried to flank with a dagger.
But Kariya easily swept them away with [Light Ball]. Cruel.
And the remaining 3.
The last person that is not Kariya or Hagasaki-kun is a person that looks like a seasoned warrior, wielding a great sword his height. Since he is in full plate armour, his face can’t be seen.
That person charged at Kariya, got blocked by [Ark], kicked off that barrier and forcefully changed his direction towards Hagasaki-kun. Uwah, amazing. A pure feat of strength.
Hagasaki-kun promptly blocked with [Ice Shield] and quickly countered with [Ice Bullet].
The warrior-san tried to cut through the Hagasaki-kun togather with the ice shield but breaking the shield backfired, the [Ice Bullet] hit.
His armour froze from where it was hit and as the warrior-san’s movement stopped, a [Laser Shot] concentrated with [Lens] exploded onto him.
But the warrior-san forcefully twisted his body to avoid a fatal wound. Uwah, amazing.
Then a few rounds of offense and defense unfolded, I kept watching and studying.
Then the warrior-san’s strong attack finally hit Hagasaki-kun……and Hagasaki-kun was sent flying off the stage……just before that he froze his own feet to the very edge of the stage. Hieeeeee, that’s definitely cold!
But Hagasaki-kun got up from that situation with just the strength of his abdominal muscles and prepared ice shaped into spears at the same time, aiming straight at the chest of the warrior-san who has trying to deal the final blow.
……the instant the warrior-san’s armour broke and the ice spear pierce the warrior-san, the warrior-san’s sword knocked Hagasaki-kun off his feet……aaaaaaaaaaaaah.

From block B, the warrior-san and Kariya won.
Mhm. That might have been the highlight of the day.

Then block C. President’s turn, but as expected, this became a terrible tragedy.
President, what are you thinking, suddenly using [Poison Rain].
[Poison Rain], as it’s name says, it is a technique that creates a rain of poison……well, basically, instant cries of agony.
Only a magician-like person that immediately blocked it with some kind of magic and a dual-swordsman that could still barely stand was left.
Then that dual-swordsman was easily taken down with [Poison Arrow] and the end.
This was horrible.

Next is block D. Toriumi’s turn.
This is already the very stereotype of the stereotypical tank-type fighting style.
He just kept blocking and hitting.
That kind of durable fighting style is simple at first glance but is terrifyingly delicate and difficult.
To dodge or to parry or to block with a skill.
This guy is very good at choosing from among those options.
And then with a magician-like woman and a bandit-like man left, he took down the stronger looking bandit-like man and game set.
Mhm~, his consideration to intentionally leave the weaker one to make the later fights more advantageous is lovely. Or rather, this guy really can do anything!

The foreigner……meaning a person that was in the same school as us that was forced into slavery and sent here, that person was very strong.
