However, each step brought him hundreds of meters forward. Everywhere he went, his surroundings were frozen like it was back to the Ice Age.
Seeing this, the prospectors who were salvaging the corpses too stopped their tasks and stared at the old man. From afar, it seemed like they too were frozen solid too.
They could not move at all upon seeing this man. It was like an instinct telling them to be fearful of this old man, like a deer staring at a train’s headlight.
The old man then walked straight into the dimensional crack from the Styx, without wearing any protective gear at all.
Still, everyone felt that this old man did not really need the gears.
