Squinting in the sunlight, Liz looked out of the limousine to see one of the most magnificent sights in her life.

At the spot where one would put their foot when getting off, there was a plush red carpet which led all the way to one of the most beautiful planes Liz had ever seen.

Yes, beautiful. Never before in her life had she used this word for an airplane.

After all, all the ones she had seen in the airports when she was flying were industrial beasts which were only built with the purpose of carrying people from one place to the other.

Yet, clearly, the vehicle that she was seeing right now had a different purpose: to make it known that its inhabitants were not normal people.

Although the basic structure was the same as an Airbus, gold trim could be seen all over the plane, giving it an elegant disposition almost like a horse strutting in lush grass while wind blew against its mane.

The design of the gold trim ran from the nose of the plane to its tail. The tail itself seemed to be completely wrapped in gold, which reflected the sun, making Liz squint her eyes even more as she looked at it.

Adjusting his checkered suit, Mr. Will got off the limousine before walking towards the plane.

Following in a much less elegant manner, Liz held the tablet in her hand while looking around.

They were in an airfield with a single airstrip. Lush, tall grass could be seen thriving all around, while the smell of flowers indicated that there was also a garden here that Liz hadn't seen yet.

What was this magical place? How could it exist so close to the bustling metropolis of New York?

As she looked back, she finally understood.

They seemed to be just on the outskirts, and it made sense as the café itself had been on the edge of the city.

It was almost as if seeing the city had brought her back to reality, allowing her to get down to the Earth and convince herself that she had not escaped into some sort of fairyland.

The walk to the plane was quite short, and as they arrived, the door opened automatically.

After Mr. Will climbed in without a pause, Liz also got on and paused at the entrance, unable to believe her eyes.

This was too much. She was just a simple girl from a simple life who had grown up even starving for days at a time. How was she supposed to handle so many displays of extreme luxury?!

Inside was the plushest cabin she had ever seen. It was as if she were seeing the pictures in one of those posh travel magazines come to life.

The floor was wooden, while even the walls were encompassed in leather. Only the windows were there to make one realize that they were in a plane.

The cabin seemed to have been remodeled, as although there was a lot of space to seat more than 10 people, there were only two seats facing each other with a table in between.

The rest of the cabin had multiple drawers which were closed as of now.

Seeing Mr. Will take a seat and look at her, Liz quickly moved forward and sunk into the one in front of him.

Pressing a button on the handrest, the CEO said, "Take off" before looking at Liz again, waiting for the answer to the question he had placed before.

Indeed, it seemed that he really did only ask once.

"As in any negotiation, I believe he can be convinced if he is offered something he truly wants. Such as the deal of outfitting his food processing plants with Happle's latest assembly line optimization product which isn't on the market yet."

Liz had been thinking about this topic, and she believed that this was an option. According to the news release, Happle's product would increase efficiency in manufacturing plants by 6% using software alone, letting companies save hundreds of thousands of dollars in the process.

Yet, hearing her answer, the CEO shook his head and buckled his seatbelt before motioning at her to do the same.

As she was understood what he meant and started buckling up, she heard a statement which shocked her and made her drop the seatbelt which she had just taken into her hand.

"Good try, but no. He is going to give it to us for free."
