This funny sight made Liz chuckle, finally allowing her to completely let down her hair after coming to this island.
Seeing her chuckle, Will squeezed her hands and turned around to see that Keren had reached them too.
"Let's go show her her room!"
Saying this in an excited voice, Keren began walking towards the stairs on one end of the room while humming a happy tune.
Smiling, Liz and Will followed behind her, and when they climbed the stairs, they turned left to find two rooms, one at the corner of the corridor and one on the right.
Keren led them to the one on the right before opening it and walking in as if she owned the place.
Oh, wait, she really did.
As Liz followed her inside while still having her hand held by Will, she saw one of the most lavish rooms in her life.
It was at least a 1000 sq. feet, with another fireplace in the corner in front of which 2 cozy chairs were placed.
The bed was huge- enough for three people to easily sleep in and still be comfortable.
There was a large wooden wardrobe to the side, and the rest of the room was covered by a tiger-patterned rug on the floor and various podiums on which vases were placed.
Keren had already crashed on the bed without removing her shoes, and she even seemed to have closed her eyes.
Shaking his head, Will said, "For some reason, my sister loves sleeping in any bed that isn't her own. Ignore her. I'll take you to the best part of the house."
Pulling her hand, Will lead them both to a large wooden double door to the side which he opened.
As sea breeze hit Liz's face, she took a step back with surprise.
It was fresh and not too salty, and just like after they had landed, she breathed in deep and felt her body getting more energetic.
Pulling again, Will lead her onto a balcony with one of the most amazing views she had ever seen in her life.
After a few tens of meters of greenery, the blue sea greeted her eyes, stretching out to as far as she could see.
There were some kind of birds lazily flying around in formation, and she could spot the beach which looked pristine.
As she walked forward quickly and put her hands on the stone railing that placed her closest to this dreamy sight, she felt Will come and hug her lightly from behind.
This man was acting much bolder than what she remembered in her memory!
She couldn't help but freeze, as she felt his body press against hers.
He was taking care not to press too tight, as this placement would make it so that two…parts might touch, which was a stage in their relationship that they hadn't reached yet.
Liz enjoyed the feeling so much that she allowed the breeze to hit her face while she closed her eyes and held his hands which were around her waist.
As if he was still shy, he wasn't even holding her that tight, which made her press his hands into her waist.
Similarly, he froze, which made her understand that he wasn't being all that bold after all.
Well, he was at least taking steps in the right direction.
For a minute or so, Liz just enjoyed the sensations that were making her giddy before finally choosing to speak.
"W-Will, we need to talk. I want us to be clear about what stage our relationship is in. I don't want to rush into anything, and I don't want you to rush you into anything. That kiss was…incredible. But was it because of the moment, or was it because you truly like me? I have…to tell you something."
Saying this, she turned around, but just as she was about to speak, she got the scare of her life.
Dorota, the elderly maid, was standing behind them with her hands folded.
When the hell had she even entered the room?
Will had just wanted to feel Liz in his arms again when he had walked forward to hug her from behind before.
Of course, he had taken care not to hug too tight, but he had gotten completely enthralled in that feeling of being so close to her.
When she made him squeeze his arms tighter around her waist, he had, of course, frozen with shock.
And when she spoke, he had already decided what he would tell her, regardless of what she wanted to say to him.
However, when he saw her staring at someone behind them, he wondered whether Keren was being Keren again, and had gotten off the bed to come interrupt them mischievously.
So, he was about to turn around too to shoo her off, but he suddenly felt a pain in his left ear which made him tilt his head up.
"Ow!"
With no other choice, he exclaimed in this manner before he felt pressure on the ear, pulling him back reluctantly from Liz.
It was only when he glanced to the side did he realize that it was Mama Dorota who was twisting his ear with a stern expression on her face.
Indeed, to him and Keren, she was Mama Dorota, the woman who had possibly spent more time raising them than their own mother.
Liz could only watch with a startled expression on her face when she saw the elderly maid dragging a wincing Will away by his ear.
"You kissed her without even making your relationship clear? William Bradshaw, I taught you better than that! Especially after what happened with…"
Here, she paused and frowned heavily before continuing.
"Let's get it clear now! Do you like this woman and want to date her as your girlfriend?"
Pointing at Liz and still holding Will's ear, the elderly maid asked this which made a slight blush creep into Will's face.
"Don't you blush and be shy now! Speak!"
"Y-Yes!"
For the first time, Liz saw Will stutter slightly.
Nodding to herself, the elderly maid turned towards Liz, locking eyes with her.
"Do you like this man and want to date him as your boyfriend?"
Liz was also about to feel shy and awkward, but remembering what had happened before, she just nodded.
She already knew that this was what she wanted, but she had never expected that she would have to admit it in this way.
"Good! You two are girlfriend and boyfriend!"
Through the corner of her eye, Liz saw Keren clamping her mouth with her hand, clearly trying hard not to laugh.
As though everything that had happened so far wasn't bizarre enough, what happened next confounded Liz further.
With the matter settled, Mama Dorota let go of Will's ear and dusted her hands.
After that, she held both her hands together and placed them near her navel, lowering her head slightly and appearing like the very picture of a loyal maid.
Will, on the other hand, righted his suit and straightened his back, as if he was still one of the most powerful men in the world, and not a little boy who had just been held by his ear.
After this, he looked away, while Mama Dorota said, "Anything else, Mr. William?"
In an authoritarian tone, Will replied, "That will be all, Dorota. Thank you for your service."
With that, Dorota walked away after shooting a glance at Keren, who finally burst out laughing.
