Mich cleared the dining area with silence and Shane waited her to finish. Soon after, she was dragged by him to the spare room by her husband. He sat down on the couch inside the room and it was mimicked by Mich.

"So, what will you do about Belle now?" Shane asked her. He did not feel any particular feeling aside from wanting to comfort her and shed tears for her.

Mich lowered her head down. She did not answered Shane's question but instead, her tears fell out from her eyes non-stop. Shane held her to his embrace and that made Mich cry even more. He's really too good to her. She did not feel any changes from him when she told them the truth. This man genuinely loves her.

Mich could only shook her head while she's in his embrace. He too had a secret over the years from her. Well, it's not really a big secret that she will get devastated after learning but maybe it will bring her joy even more. So, he decided to tell it to her. Well, she told him her deepest secret so why not telling her one of his?

"Baby... Do you remember Villa Rosa?" he asked while gently patting her back. Michele suddenly looked up on her husband.

"Yup. It's one who receive such great reviews in my blog. I was just wondering if ever I can meet the owner so that I can interview him." she said with a little excitement on her voice.

Shane had been thinking of a way to tell her that he's the owner of Villa Rosa. He then suddenly had a thought.

"Let me tell you something." he started.

"Okay. What is it?" she asked while finding a comfortable position on his lap. They had been sitting on the sofa when her tears burst out. Her husband is not that strong anymore. He sometimes complain like an old man to her when his back will ache.

"It was the time when we still strangers and father urged me to succeed the business after him. It's just that, I don't find myself happy staring at the financial reports everyday and in constant war with other companies over something. I also hated the responsibilities of a CEO. It took my father's time from us. It was the last thing I wanted to do with my future family. Also, I don't have the passion for trading and shipping. What I love is, food and everything about it. So, I secretly asked Albert to find me some building and I will turn it into a fine business. Well, that time, Albert and Rodora were still friends and they will hang out often together. So, when I joined their group, basically, I was the third wheel. Some even speculated I liked her back then." with this, Shane can't hold his amusement in his voice and then he continued.

"We dined at Villa Rosa at that time and was delighted by their service and food. We totally enjoyed ourselves back then. Then a waiter approached us eventually and he handed out a survey material for us. He said, that the place was about to close down and they were not happy about it because that would mean that they have to pack up and leave the place. Albert then had an idea but he did not say it to me. I asked the waiter why did the management decided to close down the establishment out of curiosity but his answer really was something." he stopped talking when he noticed that Mich was not moving. He looked down at the woman who's sleeping soundly at his embrace. He could not help but smile.

He kissed her forehead and lifted her up to place her on the bed.

They have a spare room in the bungalow for them to stay over if ever they want to.

He had that serious look when he finally covered her with the duvet. Instead of joining her into the bed, he walked out from the room and gently closed the door.

He walked further from the bungalow and found himself walking ashore. He fished out his phone from his trousers and dialed a number.

He waited for the other line to ring before he ended the call and then he slowly walked along the shore while feeling tranquil.

The moon shone brightly that illuminated the dark night perfectly. It's a scenic scene but Shane had a myriad of emotions in him. He remembered his father and called him.

The old man wanted to drift into the dreamland after a long day of tiresome work. His old bag of bones is not that durable like the old times. He already started to climbed up on his bed when his personal phone rang. He looked at Shane's name on the screen before he answered. He had an inkling of why his son called him when it's almost midnight.

"What is it?" he asked impatiently though, it's just a mask of his undying curiosity.

"Do you know about it?" Shane asked him vaguely but the old man on the other line clearly knew what he's asking.

"About what?" the old man asked as he snickered softly. He's holding his laughter imagining the annoyed expression of his son. "I'm not a psychic to know what you are talking about!" he sounded like angry but he's just want to pull a prank on his son.

"Never mind. You should sleep now. It's bad for you." Shane said while scratching the back of his head. He could sense that the old man was just making a prank on him.

Shane stayed silent as he gazed the moon that's illuminating over him. He looked at the skies that bore a lot of stars twinkling.

The old man stayed silent too on the other line. He pressed the speaker near his phone to listen to his son. When he did not hear anything from the other end, he pulled his phone away from his ear to look at the screen to see if the call was still on.

"Hey brat! Why did you stay silent?" he asked sounding angry but his son knew him too well.

"Misha shown some signs of waking up." Shane said completely changing the topic.

The old man leaped off from his bed the moment Shane finished speaking. He ran towards Janes' room as she had been staying in the Lewis mansion too. Her room is just beside the old man as that was he wanted from the moment he hired his young secretary.

He knocked the door hard like he was flustered with something. Shortly after, steps came towards the other side of the door and opened it. Jane was taken aback seeing the flustered face of her boss.

"Is there anything you need chairman?" she asked the old man.

"Call the pilot. We will head to the island this instant." he ordered. He completely forgot that his son was still on the phone. The old man headed back to his room and changed into something casual. He did not forgot to bring some coat because the temperature is still freezing even though it's still summer.

"Father!!" Shane exclaimed on the phone. He's close to shouting. He's angry because the old man completely forgot him.

"Ohhh... Sorry son. I completely forgot you. We will be heading there now." the old man said then cut the phone call as Jane is calling him outside his room.

Shane on the other hand wanted to throw his phone out of his frustration. He suddenly regretted that he informed the old man about Misha's development but deep inside, he was just glad that the old man chose not to answer his question.

He walked back towards the direction of where the bungalow is. His phone rang and he picked it up without checking who was calling him.

"Boss, is there something you need?" the man on the other line asked.

"Set me up a meeting with my wife. I'll be facing her as the owner of Villa Rosa." he said while smiling.

The man on the other end could only comply. He's the manager of Villa Rosa. He noted it on his planner and then went back to his sleep.
