On the second day, we began appropriate preparations for the “stupid cat chasing husband” plan.
Mo’lin stuck a few needles into Xiang Qing’s head while Jin Wen held down his nose and poured the concoction down his throat. With the approving nod of Mo’lin, Bull Devil carried Xiang Qing on his back and then headed into the forest.
Wawa grabbed onto me, and carefully reminded, “Miao Miao, you must be careful and act accordingly to the plan, you must obediently listen to Yin Zi’s words, he definitely won’t let you do what you’re not suppose to, understand?”
I understood that the stakes were high, there was only one chance at obtaining Shifu. My heart dared not be willful, therefore I could only nod my head earnestly.
Yin Zi reluctantly put on a butterfly trimmed skirt, neatly pulled his hair into two round buns, and applied powder all over his face. His face contained a frown, and his arms and feet were moodily crossed as Jin Wen lightly entered. “What are you all laughing at?! Laugh my ass!” Yin Zi angrily threw a fit, with both hands on his hips, he loudly shouted, “If it wasn’t in order to facilitate the ease of accompanying this stupid cat, why would I dress up in this appearance as neither a male or female, and cause useless misunderstandings!”

Thus I hurriedly gave a helping hand to fight it, causing it to flee as a result. You, on the other hand, received an injury to the head before falling into a deep coma. Xiang Qing doubtfully touched his head, and then continued to ask, “Why do I have no recollection of the fight with the monster? And why am I shirtless?”
“Your clothing was torn to pieces in the fight with the monster. The remains lie over there,” Mo’lin pointed his fingers in a direction, and then very innocently asked, “You’ve already been in a coma for one night, how come you don’t remember what had happened just now? That’s too strange.”
“How come my clothes are torn, but I haven’t received any wounds?” Xiang Qing frowned. Still very confused.
“Uh.….do you really want to know?” Mo’lin hesitated a little, he gave several sly glances towards us, and then smiled and said, “Gentleman really doesn’t remember? There was a female gorilla who fancied your beauty. It wanted to force you to go through with its mating ritual, however, you’d rather die than comply, and then you guys began fighting.….”

Injuries are a commonplace when hunting demons and monsters, so how can I visit a doctor every time?” Xiang Qing smiled and gave his thanks, and exchanged names with Mo’lin. He then went to retrieve his broken wooden sword and walked back towards the forest.
“He definitely has no money.” Yin Zi quietly scoffed.
Mo’lin hastily cried out, “In which direction is gentleman headed?”
“I’m here for the Demon Queen who has recently set foot here causing all the villagers to run away in fear. I must eliminate her today!” Xiang Qing’s face was upright.
I rubbed my head a few times, and softly whispered to Jian Nan beside me, “Since when did we have this kind of monster in our territory, and they still have not come to worship me yet? Too rude!”
Yin Zi gave me several brutal hits, ordering me to shut up. The three of us continued to stay watch, waiting for Mo’lin’s next move.
Mo’lin blocked Xiang Qing, and smiled, “That monster is extremely powerful, you are most likely not its opponent so I must urge you to withdraw.”
Xiang Qing gave this opinion a thought, waved his hands and said, “Thank you for the good intentions, but I must eradicate this monster so the civilians can be at ease. I ask that you leave now.”
“This.….” Mo’lin could not stop him from walking away. There was a few drops of cold sweat on his forehead, “That monster was wounded and ran away, it may be difficult to find it since it may be hiding or have already fled somewhere.”
“No harm!” Xiang Qing comforted him, “You go back first, I do not wish to harm innocent bystanders.”
Seeing this situation, Jian Nan reassured us and then walked away. Not long after, the whited haired and red-eyed Luo Luo holding a sword appeared before them. Her face was frightening as she stammered, “Come.….I am Luoying Mountain’s boss.….I’m here to plunder all the villages!”
Mo’lin re-entered his role once more, and immediately pointed to Luo Luo, “It’s her! She’s the monster behind your indecent assault!”
Xiang Qing suddenly tensed up. He drew his dagger from his boots, carefully guarded the helpless Mo’lin, and ready to rush forward and attack Luo Luo.
Luo Luo who was naturally timid and afraid of everything, before Xiang Qing even charged, she let out a “Waaa”, and started crying. She threw away her sword, desperately turned around to run, and then cried out, “I won’t dare to do evil deeds again! I will immediately leave this mountain! Please have mercy on me! Have mercy!”
That little rabbit demon really is extraordinarily fast. In an instant, she’s already fled and passed several hills leaving Xiang Qing stunned for a long while.
Mo’lin finally wiped the sweat on his forehead in relief.
The sound of the branches indicated that Jian Nan had also returned. We made a gesture for mission accomplished. Yin Zi even said that he would properly reward Luo Luo when we get back for her outstanding performance.
The monster has escaped, even if Xiang Qing stayed behind, there was nothing he could do. Mo’lin quickly dragged him away, saying how his body was overly exerted and must get treatment.
Xiang Qing helplessly agreed and followed Mo’lin, the both of them setting off onto the road.
With the success of this mission, we quickly evacuated and headed to our second destination. But along the way, Xiang Qing repeatedly asked in confusion, “Sir, don’t you think that the animals in this forests that aren’t afraid of humans, quite plentiful?”
