Taking a deep breath, I bite my lip and began to pour the disinfectant on my arm. It foamed and pus began to form as the disinfectant did its job. My breathing got more ragged, after emptying the whole container onto my arm.
I was able to draw in a short breath.
"Jade hand me the bandage." I held out my good arm and hand, as Jade jumped down and grabbed the roll of bandages on the table that I had cleaned off. He quickly deposited them in my hand. Royal let out a hiss as he turned his head to look at me.
I gave him a small smile and began to wrap the down cleaned wound on my arm. He was guarding the entrance to the room that we're in currently. The lady hadn't found us yet, so I decided to stay here for the moment.
At least until I got to clean my wound and wrap it. I'd stopped bleeding but I knew that the knife was contaminated from the other woman she'd brutally ripped apart. I could only imagine the shit that was probably wrong with the crazy lady.
After wrapping half my arm in bandages, I reach out looking for the clip that would hold it all together. Finding it, I snap it into place.
"How am I suppose to defeat her?" I sigh, leaning back in the chair. She was so fast, plus she doesn't care if she takes damage, or even losing a limb.
"Alice, I think she might be a spirit or something," Jade said, as he climbed onto my lap from the table that I had set up and dusted off. His little paw patted my thigh.
"A spirit?" I asked him.
"Mhm, she didn't bleed when you cut off her arm, or when you broke her nose. I don't know anything other than a spirit that wouldn't bleed when beaten like that!" He coughed and his tail flicked, his little eyes were flashing with numbers, almost like he was calculating.

Jade's fur began to glow a vibrant green as golden letter flew off of his body and began to form a piece of paper. His clear eyes began to fog as he began to slump into my lap, his tail stopped moving and he began to curl into a ball.
"Jade!" I sat up, picking up his tiny little body in my hand. I wince as I move my arm too fast, feeling the skin tear but I don't pay any attention to it.

The sound was like a small gong, looking up I found a golden paper floating in the air above us. I look down at Jade and then back at the paper, quickly I grab the paper and begin to scan it over.
[Attention. A fortune has been devined, for Alice. Your fortune being clouded by an Evil Hag, kill the Evil Hag and lift the fog over your fortune. If you don't then Jade will perish, it's life force was used to create this fortune and to give you a special gift! You've got 7 hours to find and kill that Evil Hag, you've been granted the skill bonus Apprentice Exorcist, if you manage to complete the task then you can keep the skill and revive Jade. If you fail then you'll receive a negative effect, and Jade's life will be forfeited. Your time begins now. Also to convert your kitten into an easy travel item please just touch the neckless around his neck.]
This damn cat, I turn my attention back towards Jade. His chest rose and fell faintly. Royal had slithered over at this point and looked at me and Jade.
"It's fine, we'll just have to save our little troublemaker is all," I told Royal with a small smile. Reaching down I hold the shiny neckless between my two fingers, it said to tap it right. Shifting my finger, I tap the neckless. With a glowing green light, I watch as Jade vanish and the neckless was all that was left.
It had actually expanded enough for me to wear around my own neck. Quickly, I slip it over my head and leave it resting on my neck. At least I wouldn't have to worry about what to do with him now.
"Royal it looks like we're going on a ghost hunt," I say reaching a handout and patting his head. He gives a quick nod of his head.
I should use the skill that I'd just gotten. "Activate Apprentice Exorcist."
[Apprentice Exorcist Activated]
A soothing cool washed over my body, spreading from the top of my head down to the tips of my toes. It felt like I was being dosed after being out in the burning sun. Looking around, I noticed that there were actually all sorts of spirits hanging around.
