After leaving the room, I ran into a lot of ghost and other strange things. It was as if the whole area had come alive with them. It looks like a lot of people had died in this hospital, this wasn't as peaceful as I had once thought.

It also seemed the ghosts were attracted to me because they would float towards me and just cling. When they started to cling onto me it felt like someone had added a weight to my body. Of course, I exorcized them. It wasn't a hard thing to do, I noticed that the more I got rid of the more powerful I felt and the less weight I had to carry.

I'd checked and I found that for every ghost I exorcized the mastery ranking of the skill would increase by 0.5% the skill leveled up quite easily. I was excited, it looked like it wouldn't be long before I could see what happened when you gained complete mastery over a skill.

Sliding around a corner I paused, I could hear the sound of footsteps and then a loud thud. However, there was no moaning or groaning that a zombie would normally have, was it the lady?

I had Royal by my side now, instead of around my arm. He kept guard of my back for me. Drawing my sword I prepare myself if it was the lady from before, I was ready to kill her she wouldn't escape this time.

Taking a deep breath, I calm my nerves and count to three. One, I slide my body off the wall. Two, bending my knees I prepare myself. Three, pouncing from behind the wall I was behind I lept out. Sword at the ready, but once around the wall I don't actually see anyone.

Twisting my head around I look, but there is no one there at all. Had I just imagined the sound of footsteps? That wasn't possible was it, I look around another time. But still, there is no one else around here. Sighing, I lower my sword and raise a hand to rub my neck.

Maybe, I was just being a bit paranoid.

I look around the hallway that I was now standing in. It was covered in rubble and glass, along with a few overturned carts. I think I saw a dead body, that was a bit strange I hadn't seen a dead body the whole time I'd been here in less it was a zombie.

Why hadn't it attacked me yet if it was a zombie? That was a bit odd.

Walking forward, I head towards the dead body.

It was the body of a man. He was lying head down, his hair was inky black and was braided. He was dressed in a t-shirt and jeans. That wasn't something you normally found in a hospital right? I couldn't see his face. Raising my sword I poke him with it, however, he doesn't move at all.

I bent down next to him, I could hear him breathing faintly. He was alive, but it looked like he was asleep. Reaching my hand out, I slip a hand under his face lifting it upwards. I almost dropped his head back down, he was beautiful.

His skin was clear as porcelain, his features were like they had been carved by a master sculptor. Although, his eyes were shut I had a feeling they were just as breathtaking as the rest of him. Had he just randomly fallen asleep? Moving his head upwards a bit more a neckless comes swinging from underneath of his shirt, I look at it. It's was a man with two heads, it was skillfully crafted out of a gold it appeared with a black chain. I slipped it back underneath his shirt.

Didn't he understand that this wasn't the place that one should fall asleep? Squatting down, I continue to look at his face. This was the first human that I had really seen, not counting the woman that had gotten killed.

He looked normal enough, not insane, although it was a bit crazy that he was asleep here. His eyelashes were actually quite long, fanning his cheeks slightly. He was very good looking, at least I thought he was good looking. I couldn't remember the beauty standard that well, my memories got a bit fuzzy when I tried to recall what people looked like.

I wonder if he would wake up.

"Hey, are you going to wake up?" I ask, brushing my finger along his cheek. He moves slightly at my words, his eyes peeking open a bit.

He blinks a couple of times and draws his face out of my hand. Sitting backward, he slides onto the floor. He rubbed a hand over his eyes, then he lowered it back into his lap. I move closer towards him, his eyes burn a bright gold like someone had poured molten gold into his eyeballs.

They were bewitching, I felt entranced.
