I opted to accept the prompting of this system and in front of my face appeared a detailed skill menu. There was a couple basic skill that most games had as a way to spend one's skill points. Reading over the list there was: Intelligence, Strength, Dexterity, Luck, and Mana. These I am assuming are the stats that everyone had.

Below the basic stats, there was a list of skill that was labeled as 'Unique Skills.' There were two skills that were there. (1) Samurai Determination, (2) Loved by Darkness.

Underneath of that read Bloodline Skills, which only have one skill listed: (1)Hecate's Boon. I knew that I should deposit my skill points. However, for the time being, I simply raised my hand and tapped on the skill.

The smiling admin had said that this skill was a Demi-God class skill, however, I didn't really know what that meant. But assuming it should be a skill that was actually pretty good, right? Taking a deep breath, I begin to skim the information.

(1) Serpent of Night ]

My nose itched as I read through the information on the card. There was a lot that I didn't understand but that doesn't mean that I didn't understand that this card had a strong ability in itself. There was a lot of room for improvement.

I wanted to try my skills, out I wonder how I summon my one and only familiar. Sitting with my legs crossed, I open my hand. "Summon Serpent of Night." I blush as the words leave my mouth, but I watch as a black pentagram begins to form underneath of my body. Black and purple smoke seep out of the pentagram. Covering the entirety of the floor that I found myself sitting on.

Soon the smoke began to twist and change itself into the shape of a snake. The smoke began to expand to about the size of a car. Watching it closely, I noticed as the smoke began to harden and take on a lifelike shape. With a jingle of a bell a huge snake appeared, it's gigantic body was curled around my own. Watching with a mixture of awe and suspense it lowers its head towards my face. So that its big amber eye was level with my head, it's slitted eye looking at me.

Peeling my eye away from its one eye, I take a look at the creature that I've just summoned. Its scales are the color of plums and there is a golden accent that adds a burst of colors to it dark purple shade. A deep hiss leaves it mouth and I turn my head back towards it, only to come face to face with its open mouth.

Its forked tongue shot out and licked my face. A scream was lodged in my throat. As the force of its tongue almost knocked me backward. I felt astonishment and fear. It couldn't possibly be tasting me, could it?

But then it began to rub its head into the side of my stomach. As more hissing sounds leave its mouth. It's forked tongue once again reaching out and licked me, although, this time with less force.

Did I summon a dog in the shape of a snake? Putting my hands out, I try to stop it from licking me anymore. It seems to understand the message and retracts it's tongue back into its huge mouth. Two fangs peeked out from its closed mouth.

"Can you understand me?" I ask the snake.

It gives a slight jerk of its head and a hissing sound leaves it mouth. I think that was a 'yes'. Hm. Redirecting my attention back towards my skill menu. I give it a small glance and then I wave my hand. Which effectively closes the skill menu.

Reaching my hand forward, I grab the black backpack. Flipping the top of the bag open, I reach a hand into the bag. As a series of images rapidly flash through my head. It was of different things, I think I saw a tent, water, food and then a picture of a knife appeared.

Pulling my hand out a knife come along with me. Just what exactly is this black backpack, was it a storage item like in a game? Holding the knife in my hand, I sling the backpack onto my back. The snake looked at me with its huge amber eye, I give it a small smile and a pat on the head. Its scales were cool and smooth to the touch.

Turning around, I notice that a door has appeared on the other side of the room. It looked like that was how I was getting out of this sterling white room. Padding forward, I head towards the door, reaching a hand out I twist the doorknob and step through the door.

As I pass through the doorframe a bright flash of white envelope my body and soon I find I'm standing in a hallway. The snake was also right next to me. It almost took up the entirety of the hallway.

"Can you shrink at all?" I ask.

With a huge plume of purple smoke that glittered like starlight and a small hiss, the snake's huge body shrinks down into the size of your everyday garden snake. Smiling, I bend down and reach out and grab it; it slithers up my arm before settling around my arm like a piece of jewelry.

I rub a finger along its head and it gives more hissing as it nuzzles my hand. What an interesting little fellow this one was.

Looking at my surroundings, I find that there are paintings of clowns lining the walls of the hallway. I hate clowns. Moving closer to the painting closest to me, I observe it. It's your run of the mill clown in the painting, however, it began to move. The clown's facial features begin to warp into a twisted grin, the red liquid starts to seep from it's hollowed eyes.

Taking a hurried step backward, I trip slightly. However, the snake that had wrapped itself around my arm expands, it's body shooting out and catching me, by pressing its giant head into my back to keep me upright. The once 2D painting began to twist and turn before a hand began to press its way out of the painting.

The hand was covered in a black tar-like substance that dripped from its fingers. Slowly it began to pull more of its body out of the painting. The smell of sulfur began to enter the air, covering my nose with my hand. I slowly retreat backward, although I can see that more of the painting that lines the walls are producing these clown-like creatures.

Misshapen appendages began to appear around me, as more and more paintings take on life. What should I do? Twisting my neck I look behind me and notice that there are actually almost fully rendered clowns behind me.

Their hollowed eyes all turn towards me. As the red liquid gushed from their eye sockets, their mouth grew even larger expanding into a twisted opening of flesh and teeth. My breath catches in my throat and I felt a sinking feeling. These things were going to kill me, raising my arm that was still holding the knife, I prepare myself.

God, I hated clowns.
