Nodding to myself, I take a breath before I swing out with my fist again. My hand shredded through the door like it was a thin sheet of paper.

"Heh..." I laughed awkwardly as the door crumbled and feel down towards me. Well, at least it wasn't in the way anymore. Stepping up on the other steps, I poke up my head up through the now open doorway.

It was smoky, it clouded my vision. Blinking a few times I try to clear my vision. After a couple of seconds, I got used to the smoke and could make out the sound of...snoring?

Listening for a second longer I was sure, someone was snoring. Pushing more of my body through the broken doorway, I catch sight of a room that got quite a few things in it.

To the far side of the room, I made out a pile of treasures that glowed with a ghastly light. Turning my head to look around more, I noticed that their other things in the room as well. A large number of swords and other weapons decorated the room.

"A treasure vault?" I say looking around more, I still hadn't found the source of the snoring. It wouldn't be a dragon would it, that might be a little too cliche. But if it was a dragon, it might just kill me, I don't think I would be able to measure up against a dragon.

Craning my neck, I search for any sign of a dragon, but there is nothing. Shrugging to myself, I quickly pull myself up through the broken door. Sliding onto the cold floor of the room.

Crawling forward, I run into a wooden table. Rubbing my head, I reach a hand up to grab the edge of the table. Quickly pulling myself off of the ground, I look around finding an all too familiar looking face.

"What the hell!" I gasp, pushing my way around the table, as I stumble towards the other side of the room that had been blocked by my vision. Reaching the other side, I pause in front of Haru. His arms and legs are bother chained up to the wall, and he's bleeding from his side.

Bloods dried on his face and around his hands as well. His eyes are shut and he's snoring slight, he was the one making the sound. But what was he doing here and chained up and bleeding no less?!

Reaching a hand out I touch his face, moving closer towards his body. He smelled like sweat and blood, his breathing was even though that was a good sign. It looks like he'd been beaten up, he doesn't stir at the touch of my hand.

I felt my eye twitch, this was the second time that I found him passed out and sleeping without a care in the world. It was a bit infuriating, gritting my teeth I raise my hand and slap him.

'Clap' echoes throughout the room, and I watched as his eyes fluttered slightly at my slap. He blinks a couple of times and raises his sleep laden eyes towards mine. The golden color still just as shocking, it was a crime that he was this good looking.

"Mistress! How dare you hit someone else, but refuse to hit me!" Envy infuriated voice sounds behind me, turning my head I look at him. He's got a grime glare on his face and a knife in his hand. What a useless bloody clown!

"You guard the door or something!" I snap, turning my attention back towards Haru, his eyes were looking more and more aware as the seconds ticked by.

"I refuse-" he starts, but I send him a murderous gaze and he gives a forced laugh before marching back towards the door and looking down.

"Haru, why are you chained up?" I ask him, rubbing a hand along his face, dried blood begins to flake and fall off his face.

"Alice..." He looks at me with those stunning eyes, before he turns his head to look at his arms and then around the room. His eyes darted around for a bit before they turned back towards me. His eyes looked a little clearer, the sleepiness vanishing from them.

"I fell into the maze, but you weren't there and then something attacked me, I can't remember the rest." He says, his eyes show their confusion as he tries to recall the details.

Frowning, I place a hand against his chest, his heart was pounding rather hard. Sliding my hand around his back, I draw my body closer towards his, till I'm hugging him to my body.

"Alice, what's wrong?" He asks me, his breath hitting the top of my head.

"You sleepaholic!" I snap at him, for some reason, a sense of relief washed over my body after finding him. He was the only human that I had met in my time here, also the only one I'd met in this new world period.

After hold onto him for a couple second I realize him. Looking at the chains that were holding him to the wall, I frown. These had to go.

"I'm going to get you down," I tell him drawing the sword from my waist.

"Be careful, I don't want you to get hurt trying to save me," he speaks quickly, but I'd already raised the sword above my head and drew it downwards.

The hiss of metal hitting metal sounded, but then I heard a breaking sound and the sword cut through the chains. Taking a deep breath, I look at the arm that I'd freed. Smiling, I quickly repeat the process hacking through the other three chains.

He falls forward slightly, I reach an arm out and catch him. He laughs softly against my ear, before standing up slightly.

"Thank you, Alice, you're a lifesaver," he says giving me a small smile.

My cheeks heat up and I quickly turn on my heels.

"No problem at all," I mutter.
