Her body bloated before it exploded, into a thousand broken piece that looked like shards of glass. A violent wind broke through the stale air and swept the piece up and back together. Slowly they began to reform.

"Did I fail?" I muttered as I fall to the ground.

But as the woman began to reappear, her eyes were the color of hazel and not red, her features were very human, I couldn't feel the trace of the previous murderous intent and bloodlust that she had; had before.

She was dressed in all white, and her once tangled black hair was now silky and smooth.

"You've freed my soul," her voice was quiet and ethereal like a fairy.

Her body drifted down towards mine, her smile was soft and airy as she reached a hand out to touch my face. It felt like a warm, as if I was sitting next to a small fire, it was quite comfortable.

"I can pass on now to you, I'd like to offer you a part of my soul, I was a powerful healer when I was alive. I'd been betrayed by one of my trusted aids and become a vengeful soul as a result, but you've purified my soul," she told me with a sorrowful expression on her face.

"In exchange, if I may be sold bold, I'd like for you to do me a favor," she continued.

"What favor?" I ask as I stand up from my seated position on the ground. The holy light was starting to leave my body, and I felt the stress and fatigue starting to return to my body.

She placed her hand once again back on my face.

"Light of the Archangel," she spoke, the fatigue vanished and I felt the wound on my shoulder healing even more. Tilting my head to look at my arm, I see that even the scar and black tissued skin had vanished. It was silky smooth again.

Turning my head back to look at her, she gives me a small smile.

"I wish for you to kill my aid for me, he still lives. He currently being harbored by the Holy Knight's of the Goddess, he took my body and offered it up to their Demi-God," her voice broke as she talked about it.

Her serene features turned dark, this was the reason why she probably hadn't been able to pass on. I didn't blame her, he was obviously someone she had trusted yet he'd murdered and offered her body as a sacrifice.

"What is his name?" I ask.

"Stranior Unlifair," her body was starting to vanish, "thank you. I'd like to offer you more than just this part of my soul, but that is all I have left." A glowing orb of light broke away from her disintegrating body and flew towards me. Opening a hand I let it fall into my hand.

I wanted to open my mouth to say something, but it was too late the last bit of sparkling light was vanishing. Her body gone and now her soul was also gone.

[Evil Hag of the Maze Dead]

[Obtained Part of Her Soul]

[Rare Skill Obtained: Light of the Archangel]

[Distributing Skill Points]

[A Chest Has Appeared]

A golden piece of paper appeared in front of my face. That was right, I had killed her, that would mean that I should have completed my quest.

[Quest Completed, you've defeated the Evil Hag, clearing the fog over your fortune, you're skill "Shrine Maiden" will be retained, you've also completed the task within the set period of time, saving Jade's life.]

With that, the golden paper folded itself and turned into confetti in front of my eyes.

The amulet around my neck grew hotter before a bright emerald green light began to burst forth from my neck. In an instant, the weight of the neckless had vanished, and its place was an all to faimilar little kitten.

"Alice," his cute little voice squeaked out as he snuggled into my neck. Raising a hand I pat his head, I kind of missed the little fellow's annoying voice.

Grabbing him by the neck, I flick his nose though. "Don't go off and offer up your life like that, next time talk to me first," I growl at him. His huge limpid eyes watered slightly before he started to cry.

"I'm sorry!" He cried harder, rubbing his paws over his eyes.

Sighing, I placed him on my shoulder. Turning, I walk towards Envy he's breathing hard, plus he's lost an arm. Although there wasn't any blood pouring out of the wound, I could see that he was in quite a bit of pain.

Bending down, I placed a hand on his cheek, "Light of the Archangel," a glowing white light appeared and the pained expression on his face vanished and the arm actually regrew itself. He opened his eyes and looked at me, with a lecherous smile.

"Mistress, your skins so soft, hehe!" I quickly removed my hand and stand up, kicking him in the side with full force. He folds in half holding his side, I swear I saw hearts in his eyes as he looked me.

I step over him and head towards Haru.

"Good job your perverted clown," I mutter.

Stepping over the massive amount of debris, I climb towards the spot where she'd slammed Haru into. He hadn't gotten up after that, I hope that he was still alive.

Shimming over a giant piece of the stone wall, I find Haru on the other side. His chest falls unevenly up and down, his hair is matted to his face with sweat and blood, his clothes are covered in dirt and stone powder.

His body's got countless cut and gashes through it, his right eye is severely damaged. His right hand is broken, all the fingers jut out in odd angles.

Running over quickly, I place my hand down on his chest, "Light of the Archangel!" I yell. The healing light quickly encompasses his body, however, unlike with Envy it doesn't heal him completely.

It knits together the flesh and fixes the bones in his hand and his breathing becomes even. However, his right eye was still bleeding and damage.

[Light of the Archangel has one more cast before it goes on a ten-hour cooldown]

A notification appeared.

"I'll use it," another bolt of light appears, this time it was completely centered on fixing his damaged right eye. However, it couldn' rebuild the broken eyeball. "Why wouldn't it work?" I ask, pressing my hand into his chest.

"Don't worry about it; its a special demon eye I'm afraid the holy light of the archangel wouldn't work on it," he answers as he reaches a hand up and touches my hands that are still on his chest. Lifting my head up I look at him, he's got a smile on his face.

"Demon eye," I mutter.
