"What's a demon eye?" I ask him, he'd started to get up from the ground. Waving his hand a set of clothing appeared out of thin air.

His clothes that he'd been wearing were looking pretty rough after his fight with the Hag. I realized that I'd never actually gotten her name. I felt a little bad about that. Turning around, I give him so privacy to change.

"It's just like it sounds, it's an eye that I got from a demon. To be specific I got it from King Purson, it allows me to see past, present, and future events, also I can find hidden objects. Of course, it isn't exactly always accurate with the bit about seeing events." He explained.

I twiddled with my shirt, it was pretty torn and tattered as well. My shorts were relatively in tack, the shoes had holes in them. For the most part, it was fine though. I'd think I'd hold off on changing.

"How did you get him to agree to give an eye?"

"That's a bit of a long story, also one that I'm not in the mood to tell. Shall we go take a look at the treasure chest that we got for defeating her?" He ask, walking towards me, I felt something touching my shoulders.

Raising my eyes up, I notice the smile he gives me and that he's placed a jacket around my shoulder. Sliding a hand up, I hold onto the jacket. Walking forward, he heads around the rubble towards the center of the room.

Sliding my arms through the jacket, I quickly follow after him.

The treasure chest has grey smoke coming out of it, and it had a transparent look to it. It was very reminiscent of a ghost. It looks like they take on whatever shape of what you kill, I wonder why the Minotaur didn't have a chest and just dropped random stuff on the ground?

Envy was sitting by the chest waiting for us, he was twisting a knife around his fingers.

"Good, you're both finally here, I've been waiting. I really want to see what we got for that kill," he laughed, running his tongue along his knife.

Sigh, I really wish he could just be normal for once.

Haru walks past him and grips the top of the chest, tossing the lid off. He sends the lid flying off into the wall. That was a bit excessive, wasn't it?

"It's not like it's going anywhere bubby no need to slam it around," Envy quipped looking at Haru with a devious smile. Envy was being the voice of reason, that was a bit strange.

For once, I rather agreed with Envy. But I decided that there was no reason to voice my thoughts out loud. It would just cause problems.

"Mhm," was all that Haru said. He quickly fished the items out of the chest, and the chest vanished once there were no more items within it.

There are ten items in total that we got from the box.

"It should be 60 percent for us," Envy pointed at me and him," and then 40 percent for you," he points at Haru," that only fair considering we did most of the work right?" He laughed.

I quickly hit him in the head.

"It's fine we can split it 50/50 if you're okay with that?" I say. There was no point in being greedy, besides he'd saved me before the maze. In an odd sense, it was like we're partners.

"Shall we see what the items are before we quibble about who should get what," he shot a meaningful glance towards Envy, who didn't seem to see it.

"I agree."

"Here, feel free to take a look at the items," he says spreading them out of the floor so that we could all view them.

In total there were four skill cards, three weapons, and three special items.

The Speical Items were:

[Dress of A Ghost] which allowed you to float and become incorporeal just like a ghost, although it was woman's clothing. I doubt Haru would want that, granted he did have a very slim figure it might look good on him.

[A Maze in A Globe] this was a tiny replica of the maze that we're currently in, you could entrap people within it. It was basically like a tiny prison of sorts. I shuddered at the thought of getting trapped within it.

[Troll Doll] this item was exactly what the name of it was, it let you summon a troll like the one that we faced in the maze. I really didn't want this at all.

The weapons that we got were [Goblin's Bone Bow], [Trolls War Club] and [Flute of Undead]. I didn't bother reading all their descriptions, the only one that I was mildly interested in was the [Flute of Undead] the other ones I really didn't care for.

"I didn't know that you could also obtain skill from defeating a monster, also I did got the skill I used to heal you from the Hag," I commented. Reaching for the skill cards.

"Of course, you can also obtain more skills from making pacts with a monster or other high-level creatures. Normally, people would be willing to slaughter each other for skills like that from monsters, generally receiving a skill from a monster means that the monster is at least at the Overlord Rank." He explained.

"Wait, wouldn't that mean it would have been impossible for us to defeat the Hag? Shouldn't we have been slaughtered if she was an Overlord Monster?!" I asked, looking at him.

"Well, she was a ghost wasn't she, to be specific a spirit that was unable to rest. Most likely she was another Player in the Million World Game. It's not impossible for other Players to give Player skills. Plus she was a corroded soul, of course, she was strong but not overwhelmingly strong," he stated simply.

"I wonder what level she was at when she died here?" I murmured to myself.

"I wouldn't worry about that, its probably ancient history."

"Still..." I replied looking down at the skills in my hands. I'd made a promise with her, I'd fulfill it for her.

Turning my attention back to the skill cards, I begin to look through them. [Summon Random Fimiliar], [Control Undead], [Spirit Medium], and [Goblin Army Creator]. These were quite the lineup as far as skills went.

All of them were centered around spirit and goblins, granted that what the end of the minigame had been full of, so it only made sense. Though I really didn't want anything to do with goblins, they were quite the ugly creatures.

"Are there any that you wanted?" I ask him.

"I'm more interested in the special items and weapons than any of the skills," he said casually.

"That fine, I'm not interested in any of the weapons, but I'd like the [Dress of A Ghost]," I knew that the globe items was a good thing to have but I wasn't too picky about not getting it," I'd also like three out of the floor skills if that would be alright?" I tell him.

"I've no problem with that, which three of the skill do you want?" He asks, passing me the dress, I grab accept it.

"I'd like to take [Summon Random Fimialir], [Control Undead] and [Spirit Medium]."

"That would leave me with six items, plus you didn't argue for [A Maze in A Globe] which is at least an A ranked item. Mhm, this is a bit too much in my favor, it's not 50/50," he muttered to himself.

I couldn't help but laugh a bit, he'd been so eager to get the chest open, yet he was still trying to be fair. He was indeed an odd bird, to say the least.

"It's really fine, more skills is always better for me," I tell him raising my hands.

He looked lost in thought, not hearing a word of what I just said. After a couple more seconds of silence from him, he looks like he's come up with something.

"I'll treat you in town, we'll ask them to appraise the [A Maze in A Globe] and I'll pay you what it's worth," he smiled and his one eye was glittering with excitement.

I had to blink, didn't he just say that it was at least an A ranked skill, I knew for a fact that it wasn't something that could be cheap to buy. I wanted to raise a protest, but he looked so pleased with himself that I couldn't do it.

He was a good boy, he was starting to look more and more like a puppy.
