"Just how did you come across this?" He raised his eyes and pinned Haru with a stare, it was like he was trying to peer into his soul as he looked at him. But it didn't seem to bother Haru in the least, he still had a cool and collected smile on his face.

"We defeated a ghost," he waved his hand at the Oldman, who promptly turned his head towards me. It felt like a weight was crashing into my body when he looked at me. I wanted to turn and run, but I couldn't move.

Fear swept through my body. It felt like I was being suffocated by the sheer pressure that he emitted. This man was dangerous, I felt my legs start to weaken.

Sensing my despair Callista expands her body and stands in front of me, lowering her head she angles her antlers at the Oldman. She lets out a snort as she looks at him. The crushing sensation lessened since she took the brunt of the stare.

My legs no longer felt like they would collapse at any second. Taking a deep breath, I try to calm my nerves that are frayed after that brutal encounter

All of the sudden a hardy laugh left his throat, the crushing sensation completely vanished.

"Lassy you're rather strong for being only a wee little level eight," his gruff voice sounded and I rested a hand on Callista as I stepped out from behind of her. Steeling myself, I raise my eyes to look at him.

Coming face to face with the white beard Oldman he looked pleased. There was no longer the scary pressure that he had been emitting before, instead, a warm relaxing feeling wafted off of his body.

"Thank you," I simply responded staying close to Callista.

"Old Friend is this your new woman, she's indeed beautiful and appears to hold a lot of potential," the Oldman laughed slamming his hand down on the desk.

Haru gave him a stiff look and then turned towards me, but I just roll my eyes. I didn't mind the Oldman's word, they were simply just words in the end. It didn't reflect my actions in the end.

"Be careful Yordrunli she's stronger than you'd think," he simply shrugged at the Oldman.

"Hm." The Oldman looked at me once more, but no pressure appeared he looked at me as if searching for something. But after a second he turned away and didn't say anything else in the end.

"Shall I transfer you the money then for the item?" Haru asks turning towards me and taking a step forward.

"Sure."

With a smile, he makes a couple small swipes in the air and then a notification appeared before my eyes. Oh, it appeared that this would make things simple.

[Accept Currency Transfer]

I tapped accept and a number appeared in the upper right of my screen. I almost choked, the figured jumped from a couple hundred thousand gold to over two million gold.

Throwing a glance towards Haru, I see a devious smile on his face.

"Wh..why so much?" I stutter slightly.

"That's cheap for a triple-A ranked item on any other world you know, most of the time you can't even purchase these from normal channels, you'd have to go through the black market." He replied in a nonchalant manner.

He didn't have any idea about what money meant, I think. Sighing, I look back up at the upper right of my screen it looks like I wouldn't have to worry about money for a while. Plus I'd be able to buy everything that I would need, plus I got the feeling this shop had a lot of hidden goodies within it to pick from.

"Thanks," I mutter. "I think I'm going to look around at the items in the shop. I'll let you two catch up." I wave my hand as I turn and head back towards the front of the shop. There a plethora of item that I would most likely need to invest in and purchase.

First, I need to find some clothes that wouldn't get destroyed because of my skill. Then I need to buy the Witch of Blood something, what about Callista. Turning around I look at her, her eyes are narrowed as she looks around the store.

"Callista, can you transform into a human form?" I ask.

Her head turns towards mine and her narrowed eyes soften. "I'm currently still a child as far as growth for my race goes, I can't transform for a long time about an hour every day, most likely." She dipped her head as she talked.

Mhm, I suppose that I could pick up some clothes for her as well. Turning my attention, back to looking to my left I spot a huge section of clothing, it was neatly hung.

Walking towards it, I start to flick my way through the rack of clothing, it was all in mint condition even though I could tell that it hadn't been moved or touched in a while. A strong scent wafted upwards from the clothes, it wasn't bad it smelled like fresh water.

Sniffing slightly, I dip my head forward searching for the one that had the strongest scent. It didn't take long to find, a complete outfit came into view. It had a short coat to it, there were a pair of pants that were a glittering black, a red bodysuit also came with it. The wedge that appeared above its head was [Undead Queen Slayer] it appeared that it had strong resistance to all fire type magic and was made from a near indestructible magic resistant fabric.

Although the only drawback at it had a weak physical defense, humming to myself, I still pick it up. I could always find other things to add some physical defense to my body.

A few other sets popped out to me, in the end, I picked up five other clothing sets. [Nurse of Death], [Empresse of Night], [Water Witch], [Queen Treasurey] and [Dyrad of Nature]. They all had different effects, and plus I had to get clothes for my cute little summons.

Moving on, I grabbed some other items that seemed useful. Thumbing through the skill books, I search for ones that had some sort of passives or other useful skills. In the end, I find a few pretty good ones.

Licking my lips, I head over and look in a few of the other shelves. I grin, when I find a pretty scythe, ever since I saw Haru use one, I wanted to try something like this out. Using a sword and all is good, but this seems like it would be a lot of fun to swing around.

Making one final glance around I decided that I'm good for now, heading back to the front where the guys were chatting away. I dumped all my stuff onto the desk in front of the Oldman.

"You didn't hold back did you, lassie?" He laughs as he looks at what I've brought up.

I felt a blush crawl up my face, I had at least a thirty different items on the desk now. But I had a lot of money and there was no point in being stingy with it. "You have a lot of good stuff," I say rubbing the back of my head.

"Good eye, I Yordrunli only carry the best of the best magical items and skills!" He proclaimed as he thumped his chest with his fist, I chuckle a little.

"Also Haru had me collect some other things that are going to be useful for you, I've put them all in this storage ring for you," he lifted a hand out and motioned for me to stick my hand out as well. I quickly do as I'm told and he drops a simple black ring into my hand.

Retracting my hand I look at the black ring before I slip it onto my finger.

"To use it you just pour some magic into it and it'll activate," Haru says and I look at him, he's got a light blush going across his face. Why was he blushing?

"Don't blush like that it's creepy," I muttered turning away from him. But I was thankful for the ring.
