Chapter 50

After finish up all of the food, I decided that I would head towards a place that the snake woman said I should check out.
The bill was surprisingly cheap, which I paid and we left the store. "Please come back again," the happy voice of the waitress rang out as we left.
"That was so good!" Wit's voice was like a bell it jingled as she bounced around. I watched her smiling to myself, as we turned down a street called 'Foxfire' raising my wrist, a map appears in front of my face.
Looking at it, I look for the place that was marked with the design of a smiley face. That was where the thing that the snake woman said that we should check, she didn't tell me exactly what it was... but she had said that it was beneficial for Players.
Humming to myself, I smile if we take foxfire then we should reach the smiley face marker seamlessly. I place my hand behind my head as I turn to look behind us, I hadn't seen any of the men from earlier when we left the shop.
However, that didn't mean that they weren't around.
"Wit, come here," I say holding my hand out for her to take. She bounces towards me with a bright smile and takes my hand.
"Big Sis, do you think those guys will come to mess with us again?" She asks.
"Probably, men like that always want to pick on someone that they think is weaker than them," I muttered shaking my head.
"But are we weaker than them?"
"Mhm, I don't think we are," I say as we weave in and out of the way of people. The street was starting to fill up, it would appear that people are starting to wake up.
Heading straight, we pass a bunch of stalls that are opening and shop owners that are smiling and trying to rope us into buying something from them. Which I ignore as I keep heading towards the marker on the map.
Soon enough we find our way out from between the packed streets to another area. It was a huge plaza, that had a giant signboard in the middle of the plaza. A couple of people are sitting around the sign or standing.
There aren't as many vendors set up here, stepping forward into the plaza. I pause, it felt like I was stepping through jello.
"Wit do you know what that feeling was?" I ask her.
"We just stepped through a special area, reserved only for players, no NPC have the clearance to enter into this area," she states twisting her head around as she surveys the area.
"That's niffy," I turn and look around. There are a good amount of odd-looking people here, but I don't see anyone with a wedge appearing above there head. It looks like she was right there really wasn't anyone that wasn't a Player.
"Then why can you enter?" I ask her thinking about it, she wasn't actually a Player.
"I'm a PA, not an NPC, I have a will of my own to a certain extent. Although, because I'm apart of you, it's like an extension in a way," she tries to explain.
I didn't really understand it all, but I suppose it made sense.
Giving her hand a light squeeze I head forward towards the bulletin board that in the center of the plaza. There are points of light that are glowing on the board. Some of the points of light flashed and other twinkled and blinked.
It seems that they all had a mind of their own.
People were all standing around waiting for something it seemed, a couple had set up seats and other things to wait on. I saw a couple of people sitting on animals, another was sitting comfy on a giant pillow.
Others even had a pavilion set up.
It seems that this was the place to be, heading over to the right side where there are fewer people. I decided that I would wait here, people are looking at the board of flashing lights, I might as well as follow suit.
"Come out Callista," I say raising my hand. The glowing purple and cyan bracelet begins to glow before a huge hind appears. Her eyes are shinning, I'd kept her in the bracelet form as it was easier to move around and be less conspicuous.
But I suppose, resummoning her was a bit flashing in itself, but that was a thought for another time. She lowered her head and pressed it into my hand, I smile and rub her face.
I didn't have any chair, I figured that Callista might let us use her as a chair.
Before I could open my mouth to ask her a voice sounds, "Beautiful Lady, are you lacking a chair?" Turning my head I see an elegant looking woman walking towards me. She was about the same height as I was. Her body was made up of luscious curves that are complemented by the skin-tight black dress that she's donning. Her hair was a light brown and flowed around her in waves, her eyes are a light purple and look a little predatory.
A couple of men and women followed behind her, each of them carrying a large backpack with them. But it didn't appear that their movement was the least bit inhibited by the bags at all.
Turning my focus back onto the woman that was fast approaching us, I noticed a black earring hanging from her ear that looked a lot like the neckless that Haru had, however, this one was of a woman's face and a two snake's curling around it.
She should belong to the Sovergin Clan of the End, why did I keep drawing these people to me. It was like I was a homing beacon or something for them. I remembered that the Sovergin Clan of the End was associated with the Shadow Meracinier, so it shouldn't be too bad to associate with this person.
Her face was smiling as she finally reached us, "Even prettier up close, I just love your beauty and your little sister, she's adorable as well!" The woman gushed as she bent down and looked at Wit with a twinkle in her eye.
"You ar-" before I could finish someone else yelled out.
"Bitch, I've found you! Now that we're not in the restaurant I'll show you just who you've insulted!" I turn my head around and low and behold it's Brute One and Two, along with another group of people that number around seven in total.
Sighing to myself, I turn my attention to these men. I don't see the third one this time around, looks like he'd decided to abandoned these two idiots. It seems that these two wouldn't stop till they avenged their grievances towards me.
Rolling my eyes, I wonder what the rule about killing idiots was exactly in the town...
