Rolling my eyes, I place the kitten down on the floor. I didn't have the time or the patience to dwell on why the creepy blonde haired man had gifted me this skill, but it was the reason that I had survived, hence I was thankful even if it was a little bit odd.

"I'll explain monster ratings to you now. Monster rating is the like the ability ranking however it goes: Primitive, Advanced, Unique, King, Overlord, Titan, and God. I'm quite powerful, also with Monster some have the ability to advance and continue to upgrade." He continued from his position on the floor.

"You're saying that you can evolve past King class?" I ask.

"Precisely! I'm an amazing monster aren't I?" He purred and puffed out his chest once again, his tail flicking widely behind him.

Shaking my head at his antics, I move up onto my knees. There were still a couple other things in the chest, I reached in and took everything out. After all the items have been removed the chest began to losses it's glittering appearance and starts to morph into a rundown looking chest.

Strange.

Placing the items down, I look at them. A contact case, a simple looking bracelet, and some glasses. There had also been the little talking kitten. I suppose I would start with the contact case. Flicking the lid of the contact case open, a screen appeared before my eyes.

'Welcome, you've found the digital interface of the Millon World Game. Enclosed within the case are special contacts. They allow anyone that doesn't already have the skill analyze to use it. Once you've used them they will be permanently yours and implanted into your eyes! Don't worry there are no side effects.' I read over it after I was through reading it the screen vanished and there was just an ordinary looking contact case in my hands.

Analyze could be a rather useful skill.

Scooping one of the thin contacts out of the fluid, I hold it on my finger examining it. I could make out tiny little circuits that seemed to be glowing a light gold. Well, I might as well go for it. Taking a deep breath, I quickly pop the first one into my eye. Reaching for the other, I repeat.

Blinking my eyes a few times, I wait for them to settle into place. A tingling sensation begins after a couple seconds, then it turns into a dull ache. After that, a stinging sensation begins, however, that only last for a moment. The tingling sensation begins to spread through the rest of my head, traveling through my eyeballs to the rest of my face. Almost like they are taking root in my head.

Tears run down my eyes, raising a hand, I catch one and find that it's a mixture of blood and a silvery substance that feels gritty almost like sand. After the tears had stopped, I wipe my face. There no sensation of pain anymore, just a bit of a dull ache like I've had my eyes open too long.

Looking towards the tiny kitten, a little marker appeared above his head 'Jade the Fortune Kitten,' looking over at Royal another pop up appear 'Unknown Creature.' Huh, looks like Royal was a bit of an enigma.

Turning my attention back towards the items that I'd gotten from the treasure chest. The bracelet turns out to be a map of this world, the glasses are a special item called 'Einstein's glasses', another little information bubble appeared but I didn't read it. Slipping the bracelet on, I grab the glasses.

"Master!" The little cat whined. I looked down at it, and it's cute little face was turned into a heartwrenching adorable frown.

"Jade, why do you keep calling me Master? It doesn't sound cute you should just call me Alice." I raise an eyebrow as I pick him up.

"I'm your contracted pet! It's only right that I call Master; Master." It snuggled into my arms.

"That so? I don't remember signing any contracts with you." I ask with a roll of my eyes as I move to grab my bag. But Royal's already got it between his fang, he lowers his head and let me pick it up from his mouth.

Ah, what a reliable snake. Flipping the flap of the bag open, I deposit the glasses. Reaching from my sword and new spear, I also slip those into the bag. This bag was called 'Pandora's Bag,' I'm sure nothing good could come from a name like that.

"It's not something that needs to be signed, it was a contract the moment I recognized you as my Master." He stated with a tiny nod of his head as if it was a matter of fact and not his own viewpoint.

"Is that so, then aren't you just freeloading on me?" I ask him with a slight grin.

"I'm not a freeloader, I'm special you should treat me better Master!" His little voice was aggravated, it even cracked a little. His ears had turned downwards, showing his agitation.

"It's Alice if you say, Master, one more time I'll stuff your body into the bag." I threatened with a fake tone of dominance, but his little body shakes slightly in my arms. Ah, it was so cute.

"Royal, shrink for me." I held out my hand, and he shrunk down and slide up my arm. Moving, around I noticed that my ribs didn't hurt anymore. Reaching from the edge of my shirt I pull it upwards looking at my white flesh, I notice that there is some slight bruising around the area, other than that it didn't hurt.

What a sturdy body.

Casting a glance back at the rest of the room, I walk forward towards the door.

"Ma-" He started speaking and I cast him a pointed glare. "Alice, we should head towards the town area!" He quips.

"There's a town area?" I raise my eyebrow, nearing the door, I reach out and grab the door handle.

"Of course, where else would other Players gather!" He mutters.

"Right then shall we make getting to a town our top priority?" I chuckle.
