"Why are you crouched down like that? Do you have diarrhea or something?" A young girl's voice remarked, making her presence known.

Startled by their sudden appearance, Jinny raised her head up to see Mimi, her small face caked in heavy makeup and those rare purple eyes staring down at her.

Mimi observed as the woman's face lit up with surprise and then…joy?

"Ms. Mimi!" Jinny shot herself upright and looked at the young girl with clear admiration.

This was perfect, just the person she needed to help her! Not that she hadn't helped her enough. Thinking back to all of Mimi's actions of encouragement, Jinny's heart warmed and her expression directed to Mimi turned softer.

Unknownst to Jinny, Mimi's actions were for her own selfish entertainment and boredom.

Mimi, noticing the change in her expression, suddenly had an uneasy feeling. This woman…she's looking at her funny. Why did she suddenly look happy to see her?

Needless to say, Mimi felt disturbed seeing it. Her face furrowed, and she stared disdainfully at the woman's look of delight.

"Well seeing that you're fine, I'll be leaving." She turned to leave hoping to avoid Jinny's sudden change in behavior.

"Ah, wait! Don't go yet, there's something I want to ask you!" Jinny chased after her.

Frowning at her behavior, Mimi speeds up. "Then ask, don't stall."

"Ah," Jinny panted as she walked faster to catch up.

How was she supposed to talk to her when she was walking so fast? Nonetheless, Jinny tried her best to keep up and speak to her.

"U-Um, about what happened yesterday, I wanted to say I'm sorry and…"

Mimi irritably cut her off. "Is this what you want to speak to me about? If so, I don't want to hear it."

"Uh, no, you're right."

A beaming smile curved on Jinny's lips. She was always so direct, never wanting to waste time! Mhm, indeed Ms. Mimi was the best person to help her!

A sudden chill ran through Mimi's spine, and she looked back to see Jinny smiling radiantly at her as if she were an angel from heaven. A look of revulsion immediately etched across Mimi's face.

What the hell happened to her?!

Rather than stopping, Mimi's movements sped up, leaving Jinny out of breath and her round cheeks to flush red.

Employees walking by or within the area watched the two in awe. The two looked like a game of cat and mouse but rather…the cat was being chased by the mouse.

Finally, reaching her limit, Jinny stops and breathes heavily. When she saw Mimi was still walking away, her fists clenched and she held her breath.

"Ms. Mimi please teach me how to be a cold and straightforward person like you!" Jinny's voice echoed down the hall causing those walking by to pause, including Mimi.

What...What did she just say? What kind of person would want to be taught that?!

The onlookers turned to look at the girl dressed in all black with back faced toward Jinny in fear.

They all gulped and held their breath as they waited for the wrath Jinny was to face - some silently praying for her. Mimi slowly turned her body around, and everyone's breath hitched.

The girl's face was filled with a wide smile. Satisfaction and pure bliss immediately clouded her eyes as though she was offered a lifetime supply of money.

It had been the second time everyone saw her smile and just as they remembered, it was terrifying! Good God, who created this spawn of Satan and let her loose?!

Henry Hirogori in his office sneezed and his expression darkened.

Damnit, whoever had a window opened were to be fired!

...

The corner of Mimi's lips arched into a kind smile, and she said gently, "So that's what you wanted to ask. Why didn't you say so in the first place?"

Jinny almost wanted to vomit blood hearing her. She didn't give her the chance! The moment she opened her mouth she ran away!

However, not wanting to anger her new master, Jinny held her tongue and smiled awkwardly, "R-Right."

Mimi nodded her head and her usual stony expression returned, "I'll agree to teach you but it won't be for free, I'm not running a charity here."

Jinny's eyes lit up hearing her words. "Of course, if it's within my ability, I'll give it to you!"

Satisfied by her response, a flicker of mischief flashed across Mimi's eyes. Hoho, she had no idea what she got herself into!

Not noticing the girl's change in mood or the mischievous glint in her eyes, Jinny continued to stare at Mimi with glittering, naïve eyes.

Finishing her work hours at Tobias's company, Mimi headed over to her own company to check in on things. While handling things at Glory Trade Corporation, Mimi hired someone to cover for her while she was away at her company.

Important matters like meetings, finalizing contracts and business deals were her job, while everything else would be assigned to her replacer.

Of course, none of this was easy work for either side. Knowing she had a lot of work on her plate, Tobias created a suitable schedule for her so she'd be able to manage her company, work a diligent number of hours at his and still have time to rest.

Sigh, having a boss like him was almost too good to be true!

Thinking of the cold, iceberg of a man, Mimi smiled and happily hummed to herself while she walked down the streets. Those passing by her immediately evaded the humming black-clothed girl as if she were a plague.

Ah, she was like a character out of a horror film!

A sudden buzz vibrated in Mimi's hand. Lowering her head, she glanced at her cellphone and saw Tobias's number calling her.

About to answer, her bright eyes abruptly shot up in the direction of the familiar heated gaze nearby. She stood still, surveying the streets and like before, nothing was out of place. She frowned, not realizing the frustrating and uneasy feeling welling up inside of her.

Unlike where she disregarded it the first time, Mimi for sure knew someone was watching her. She wasn't an idiot to ignore two familiar experiences.

Damnit, who kept looking at her heavenly self but made no move to approach her! It was infuriating!

Remembering that Tobias was calling her, Mimi retracted her malicious gaze from the crowd and looked down at her cellphone to answer.

"Mimi?"

"Hello, Toby!" Mimi chirped.

Passers nearby felt chills run down their necks. That honeyed voice came out of such a scary figure? It was much more terrifying than the usual scary tones!

"I hear you've recruited a new disciple?" Tobias's dark and sultry voice spoke on the other end.

"Huh?" Caught by surprise from his sudden question, Mimi scratches her cheek. "Ahaha, I see. News sure travels fast."

"When concerning you, yes," Tobias responded matter-of-factly.

A smile unknowingly formed on her lips, Mimi teases, "My, my Toby, you really know how to make a pure maiden like me feel special!"

Ignoring her teasing comment, he asked, "Are you on your way to work?"

"Mm, yes."

"I'll send someone to pick you up and order you some clothes."

Mimi giggled. "Goodness, you spoil me too much, but thank you, I'll send you my location."

Tobias hummed a sound of acknowledgment and in a serious tone ordered, "Don't forget to take care of yourself."

"Yes, boss!"

Chatting away for a few minutes until her ride arrived, Mimi finally ends her call with the man and enters the car.

On Tobias's side, the man set his phone down and his eyes narrowed, the air around him immediately turned heavy - the temperature dropping a few degrees.

He hadn't wanted to comment on it during their conversation earlier and acted oblivious. But after hanging up, his mind wandered back to his original thoughts. Pressing his lips together, Tobias sat with a deep and dangerous expression.

It took her thirty seconds to answer his call…

Some may think he was being obsessive, but Tobias knew something must have happened for Mimi to answer his phone call late. What caused him to be more skeptical was the girl's tone when she answered.

Like before when she wanted to divert his attention from her feeling unwell, she pitched her voice. It was a habit even Mimi herself was unaware of.

If anyone were to hear Tobias's thoughts they would have thought he was…well crazy. His intensive observations of the girl's actions and tone of voice could only be considered unusual.

Covering his head with his hand, his head still back, Tobias groaned. In frustration, he ran a hand through his dark hair causing it to tussle over his gloomy black eyes. He didn't want to interfere in the girl's affairs as he believed in her enough to handle things wisely. But when it came to her well-being, it seemed his trust for her was slapped in the face.

Tobias's nostrils flared and his muscles tensed recalling all her previous reckless actions.

The girl had no self-awareness for herself! It was as if she didn't consider the consequences of her actions and only thought about what would satisfy her the most.

Tobias took in a deep breath, leaning his back into his seat as he finally surrendered. He trusted her, so he'll allow her to act freely. A complex emotion darkened his eyes…for now at least.

Meanwhile, Mimi hummed comfortably in the back seat of Tobias's car, unaware of the trouble awaiting her in the future.
