Late in the afternoon in the office of Glory Trade Corporation, Tobias stared emptily at his computer screen.

His secretary, who gathered the courage to walk into the demon's cave felt his legs tremble at his boss's mood.

Ordinarily, Tobias was cold and indifferent without a void of emotions. The aura around the formal man was intimidating enough, however, that day Tobias had barely received a wink of sleep. The man had dark circles under his eyes.

The air around him felt dense.

His secretary cursed the reason for his boss to appear on edge.

"S...Sir...I have the notes for last weeks meeting," His secretary stuttered.

Tobias was silent for ten seconds before his dark endless eyes looked up to the trembling man. His secretary felt his bones become soft and the sight of the man's mysterious eyes.

Please have mercy!

Knowing he likely required him to place the papers on his desk, the secretary achieves exactly that.

Being dismissed with a grunt, the secretary nods his head before rushing out like he was on fire.

Alone in his office, Tobias releases a sigh. He scrunches his dark eyebrows together, tapping his slender strong finger on the desk, his usually expressionless eyes flash with conflicting emotions.

Last Night

....

"You're a girl aren't you?"

Mimi blinked up at Tobias with a dazed expression. The two both remained silent. Leisurely the young boys bottom lip curved into a mischievous smile.

"Mr. Itou, you must be mistaken," Mimi chuckled. "I typically get told that quite often from my peers. But I promise you, I am biologically a male."

Mimi's expression doesn't waver even under Tobias cold penetrating stare. If anything she looked as if she was provoking him.

"You sure about that?" Tobias arched one of his sexy brows.

"Yup," Mimi chirped with a smile.

The man's line of sight falls on Mimi's seemingly flat chest then down to her... lower area then back at her.

Although, he had never admired a woman's body up close not to mention some teenage girls body.

From the softness he previously felt of the young boy's body and his curves...he was positive the young boy in front of him was a girl.

He wasn't dense enough to not recognize the difference in the opposite sex's body.

"Mr. Itou," The young's boy said teasingly. "Do you want to touch to find out if I'm lying or not?"

Tobias's eyes widened, a dark gaze swept over his eyes as he looked at the teenager before him.

As positive as Tobias was, he recognized his boundaries even as a man who would jump at the opportunity.

Identifying the man's uncomfortable expression, Mimi could no longer hold it in much longer as she burst out into fits of laughter.

Hearing her harmonical gentle laugh for the first time, Tobias stares at her with dark prying eyes.

Despite the gruff voice she used to disguise herself, he hadn't realized her voice would sound so sweet.

"I apologize, Mr. Itou, you're too intelligent of a man to fool," Mimi giggles. "I must be a little rusty with my disguise if a man who rarely interacts with women could notice."

"You--" Once Mimi spoke with her raw voice, Tobias immediately recalled the familiar sound.

"Ah...so you recognize me," She smirks.

Hearing her admit to being a girl the corner of his lips twitched. On top of that, being the previous young girl he'd met at the convenience store, Tobias felt overflowing emotions for the first time.

Although Tobias had no alternative motives, he had assumed that once he asked about her gender she'd possibly panic.

However, what he didn't expect was for her to teasingly suggest for him to fondle her and remain utterly calm towards being found out.

This girl was truly unpredictable.

"Does Alec know that you're...a girl?" Tobias curiously asked.

"Haha. The idiot's known his whole life," She snorted as she slouched down on a chair.

Tobias arches his brow with confusion as he stares at the cross-dressing girl before him.

Being an intelligent businessman and someone who's witnessed how the industry works, he could possibly imagine why such a young clever girl would disguise herself as the opposite gender.

It was difficult for women to make it into the business world at this time, so her idea wasn't so far fetched.

But the reason for why she tried to reach so far and enhance her success confused him.

She hadn't seemed like someone who sought fame and fortune so her reasonings were unknown to him.

As much as he wanted to ask he knew that it wasn't any of his business.

"I have to say, Mr. Itou, you're quite a decent man," Mimi broke the man out of his thoughts. "Not even going to interrogate me about anything?"

"Aren't you going to ask me what I'm going to do now that I know your true self?" Tobias implored.

Looking into the man's eyes Mimi grinned, her gaze directed itself towards the city view.

"You'll most likely maintain it to yourself. Knowing that's the kind of man you are," Mimi said.

"What kind of man would that be?" Tobias voiced with a tinge of amusement, his lips curve up slightly.

"Dense when it comes to human conversations, understanding when it's business. Distant and detached towards your peers."

Tobias feels his bottom lip twitch as he hears the girls words. His fit body exuded a tremendous pressure throughout the room, he didn't understand why her words bothered him.

Seeing the man's brooding mood, Mimi grins as she looked back at the view.

"However, despite that, you're a loyal decent man who dislikes drama."

Once the words left her mouth, the man's dark mood slowly calmed down. However, he was still annoyed by her.

Receiving her guesses on his personality based on what she had seen so far produced mixed emotions.

"So, Mr. Itou what do you plan to do with my secret?" Mimi smirked at the man.

Sighing, Tobias runs his broad hand through his luxuriant black hair. "As you indicated nothing. I have no reason to reveal your secret nor will I gain anything from it."

Nodding her head, Mimi stands up walking towards the man so she was directly in front of him. Reaching her hand out she smiles up at Tobias.

Seeing the girl's outstretched hand, Tobias arches his bushy brow then looks back at Mimi.

"It's a handshake," Mimi laughed. "A promise really."

"For what exactly?" Tobias asked.

"So just in case you go back on your word," Mimi nonchalantly said. "This way we shake on it as a deal!"

The man continued to stare at Mimi with unreadable eyes. Having her hand out she raised her eyebrows up at the man.

Internally Tobias was confused by the young girl's strategy.

Had she honestly planned to use a simple handshake as a contract?

However, despite her foolishness, Tobias let out a deep chuckle as he shook the girl's hand. Mimi bobbed her head in satisfaction and smiled.

Little did Mimi know, how rare it was to hear the attractive man's chuckle...

....

Back in Tobias's office, the man calmly stared at his broad palm. However, he until now hadn't identified her name.

Hopefully, the next time he saw her he'd be able to ask her. After thinking those thoughts Tobias's whole body became tense.

The next time he saw her?

Without thinking, those thoughts had already invaded his head.

What Tobias would expect to be on his mind was avoiding the troublesome girl at all costs...but how come that's not what he was thinking?

Separating him out of his thoughts the sound of a phone ringing envelopes the room. Grunting, Tobias picks up the phone while continuing to review the documents in front of him.

And hopefully, get the troublesome girl out of his head.

"Hello?"

"Good evening, Mr. Itou!" A young girl's voice says on the other line.

Or maybe not.

Tobias's body froze in place. Straightening his posture, he licks his lips before responding.

"Andras?"

"Ah...seems like you recognize my voice, that's good!" Mimi giggles.

"En." Tobias merely said. "Did you need me for something?"

"Glad to see you getting straight to the point!" Mimi said. "If you're free, I'd like to privately discuss a few things with you."

Without thinking he instantly responded. "I'm free."

Mimi who heard his response remained silent for a couple of seconds before releasing a few fits of coughs.

"Well, in that case, would you like to meet at EMIRI in the following hour? " Mimi suggested.

"Sounds good. I'll see you then," Tobias said, however, he didn't end the call as if waiting for her to say something else.

"See you then, Mr. Itou." Mimi chuckled before ending the call.

After Mimi ended the call, silence rung out. Staring at the number on his screen a strange grin curled up on his lips.
