For the next few minutes after ordering their meals, the two sat in silence, occasionally making small talk about certain non-work related topics.

Mimi, sitting quietly while drinking her water hadn't found anything awkward about their lack of conversation.

If anything she felt quite pleased as she was able to admire the restaurant's structure.

Finally, the two's meals had arrived.

Placed in front of her with a strong pleasant aroma were a bowl of wild leek and potato soup with wilted leek greens.

The fragrant aroma drifting into her nostrils warmed Mimi's heart. The smell was both buttery and the right scent of leeks.

Placing on a blithe expression, Mimi scooped a spoonful of the warm soup toward her rosy eager lips.

With the spoon closer to her nose, Mimi gently inhales its scent before taking a small sip from her spoon.

Buttery, creamy, not too salty. The flavors were just perfect and despite the various leeks cooked in the soup, not overpowering.

The tip of Mimi's tongue begged for more as a glowing almost blinding light had shone behind her.

Meanwhile, as Mimi joyfully ate her soup, Lee Odo and the rest of the customers watched Mimi's beaming warm reaction.

From when she softly inhaled the steaming soup, to when she gently lifted a spoonful and elegantly sipped it, all were watching.

He was practically blinding!

Some couldn't help but find it as if the boy was advertising the soup in a commercial based on his warm reactions – it made many wish to try the soup for themselves to understand the boy's blissful reactions.

Coughing lightly, Lee Odo causes everyone's attention to move away from the boy and back toward themselves, while Mimi looked up from her soup to stare at the silver-haired man across from her.

"Your company, it's been doing well these past few months."

"Indeed it has."

"With greatness comes more responsibility, I'm sure you must be in need for more workers to help take the load off."

Arching her brows curiously, Mimi's lips twist into a sly smirk.

"Mr. Lee, is there a point to this discussion?" Mimi chuckled.

Amusingly shaking his head, Lee Odo laughs gleefully.

"In fact there is. I'm sure you remember the Hirogori event a few months ago, correct?"

A dark glint flashes within Mimi's eyes, however, very quickly it disappeared.

Mimi flashed an unreadable smile. "I do. Quite a lively event it was that night."

"En. In that case, does Mr. Andras remember the young lady you helped that night?"

Silently going quiet, Mimi's brain goes back to the night of the Hirogori event.

Ah...that's right. Emilia Yimo. Golden blond hair, silver eyes, spoiled naïve attitude.

Lowering her eyes as if in lost thought, Mimi smirks. "Don't tell me her father wants me to marry her?"

Nearly choking on his cup of water, Lee Odo fixes his gaze on the young boy seated across from him. Suddenly, the old man burst out into fits of hearty laughter.

"No, in fact, he was curious if his daughter could get a job at your company. After the incident with Ms. Yimo and Mr. Williams, her father decided it was time she had a taste of the industry. Who would have thought she agreed upon working within your company."

Not holding back her surprise, Mimi's eyebrows raise up. She was well aware of the many parents sending their children into the industry to get a taste of the experience before they took over the business.

After all, Mimi, born in a family raised on being the best and on the top was well aware of being thrown into the dark business world.

When she was nearly four-years-old, her father threw her into the business world and forced her to experience various tests.

It was then that Mimi's childish innocent mind finally understood what her purpose in this world was.

It was merely to be used as a pawn in her father's chess game in reaching the top in the business world.

However, before she was consumed she quickly pretended to not understand what was going on and act spoilt. Thus, giving her the well-known title in the Hirogori family, useless trash.

Back to the matter concerning Emilia Yimo, Mimi could understand her father must have wanted her to read others easily and understand being betrayed was all part of being powerful.

But out of all people in the large industry, why choose her?

She was new and hardly had the experience most businessmen in the industry possessed.

Sure, her company rose in a short amount of time, but that was hardly considered impressive if she were to compare herself to others like Tobias Itou.

Mimi immediately raised the corners of her lips toward Lee Odo. "And why would Mr. Yimo choose me to guide his precious daughter?"

"He heard about what you did for his daughter at the Hirogori event and found you a perfect candidate. You're young, mature, and possess some experience in the industry."

"Is that so?"

"Yes. Honestly, I understand you may be hesitant as his daughter has no experience and was raised quite spoiled. But she's more than willing to learn and earn your acknowledgment. Giving her a chance wouldn't be too hard, right?"

Propping her chin with her palm, Mimi smirks. What a cheeky old man.

Mimi was well aware of Emilia's bad temperament and naivety, it was one of the reasons she had no choice but to help her during the night of the Hirogori event.

However, that didn't mean she was willing to help again. For free at least.

"Mr. Lee, then you must also know I'm a very busy person. Training a young lady how to work in the industry is extremely time-consuming, not to mention useless to me."

"Isn't having a beautiful young lady working by your side enough?" Lee Odo chuckled.

"Afraid not."

Lee Odo helplessly shook his head, an impassive smile spread across his beard covered lips.

"Did I forget to mention Mr. Yimo offered to invest into your company and your newest project; that is if you're able to teach his daughter well by the end of the month." Lee Odo explained while cutting his steak.

Mimi, hearing Lee Odo's words, raised her brows with mild surprise and slight amusement.

Releasing a gentle sigh and a faint smile spread across her lips, Mimi fixes her gaze toward the bowl of soup in front of her.

"Tell Mr. Yimo his daughter can start her training Monday morning. I hope for her to be early." Mimi softly said as she sipped her soup.

Chuckling pleasantly, Lee Odo smiles in the boy's direction, a satisfied expression on her face.

"I'll be sure to tell him."

Lightly humming in response, Mimi focuses her attention entirely on the soup and nothing else – completely ignoring Lee Odo.

Not minding the boy's silence, Lee Odo chuckles once more before continuing to eat his freshly cooked steak.

Eyes lowered, the mischievous glint in Mimi's green eyes was completely hidden.
