By the time Li Yi was killed, the boss warplane had also been destroyed. There were a few loud rumbles, and then the boss warplane, along with its 20 passengers perished within the explosion…

“Great, now we press forth!”
The enemy only had one boss warplane, so once it was gone, there was nothing else. The other remaining players could only use the cannons near the Energy Sources to retaliate.
Of course, as the attacking side, their cannons were considerably powerful as well. Each shot was not merely a single bullet. They exploded into fireworks as soon as they were shot, with great range and power. It would only take two or three of these shots to take down a flying-bird warplane.
Li Yi’s strategy had no issues because he had already guessed that the enemy would go for him first. That was why he had created two teams that split away and went for the Western and Northern Base Energy Sources. His strategy worked, but he had underestimated the opponents’ resolve.
They wanted to take him down at all costs, and would even sacrifice the boss warplane for it…
Nobody was guarding the bases of the Western and Northern Energy Sources whatsoever. Shangguan Bailu concentrated all her military might into the main battlefield and could only protect one Energy Source, using the cannons to blow through enemies that tried to get past.

The two sides resisted each other. Although Li Yi alone had cost the opponents their precious boss-level flying-bird warplane, their cannons on the ground were plenty strong as well. They unleashed the cannons uniformly, keeping the teams led by Chen Yang and Pretty Good Mood away from the Base Energy Sources.
The hail of bullets cascaded down on them. Pretty Good Mood’s strategy was to break through each of them one by one, but unfortunately, many of their members did not have the control skills to accomplish that. People were constantly being shot down. By the time they cleared away half of the opponents’ cannons, Chen Yang was the only one left in the sky, buzzing away…
There were still 5 minutes left on the clock, the Energy Sources had full HP, and there were still a dozen or so cannons on the ground…
“Whoosh—”
The flying-bird warplane that Chen Yang was piloting extended a small white flag, That shameless fatty had actually thrown in the towel…
“Master, how could you?” Pretty Good Mood spat ruthlessly at Chen Yang.
Chen Yang’s expression showed that he thought nothing of it. “Cough, I’m trying to save on repair fees.”
Li Yi shook his head helplessly. There were only 5 minutes left, so even if Fatty continued fighting, nothing could come out of it. It did not matter if he surrendered or not, it would not have made any difference either way.
Li Yi clapped his hands together. “It’s fine, we still have the next match. Everyone, keep your spirits up!”

Everyone was standing underwater. Somehow, they had appeared in the Tidal Throne map.
“Where’s this? We can even fight underwater?” Pretty Good Mood said in surprise.
“Yeah, it’s my first time being here. How do we fight here?” Everyone was confused.
With the exception of Li Yi, none of the other members of the Little Drunk Guild had ever been to the Tidal Throne map. This was their first time.
“We’ve never seen this map before, so I bet it’s the same for them as well, right?” said Chen Yang, narrowing his eyes. By ‘them’, he meant the Dream Guild, of course.
“Yup, I think so.” Li Yi nodded, secretly pleased. No one else knew how to beat Tidal Throne, but he knew.
The two sides drew lots, and this time luck was on the Little Drunk Cat Guild’s side. The Dream Guild took the attacking lot, whereas the defenders were Little Drunk Cat.
The defending side’s quest was very simple. They just had to make sure the 4 Magic Crystals were not destroyed until the hour was up.
The attacking side could control 30 Big Murlocs, and the defending side had control over the four murloc bosses. Of course, in the interest of fairness, neither side could use the Vile King.
The system automatically explained the objectives, and soon enough, everyone knew what they had to do.
Each murloc boss corresponded to a Magic Crystal. A Magic Crystal would shatter for every murloc boss killed. Of course, they could forcefully shatter the crystal without killing the boss as well. All they had to do was destroy all four crystals.
“Guild Master, how do we delegate these four combat mounts?” Looking at the four murloc boss mounts, Pretty Good Mood was completely and utterly lost.
“I’ll use the Baseball Elder. For the rest of you, try each one out for size and use the one that feels good for you.”
They could not use their own skills once they were on a mount, so their classes did not matter.
Since this was their first time entering this dungeon map, both sides needed to make ample preparations before the battle. The 20-minute warm-up period was enough for them to familiarize themselves with everything.
“The Archer Prais’ skills are hella cool, I’ll take this one!” Chen Yang rode on Prais’ shoulder, and refused to come down once he had gone up.
He was a Summoner, but that did not mean he could not use the Archer boss. That was the charm of the King of Pantheon game. Each player could make up for their own shortcomings.
Soon enough, they had delegated all the roles. Pretty Good Mood rode the Octobull, while Golden Gun Cannot Fall took the first murloc boss, Zambo.
In the interest of fairness, the four murloc bosses could not move about as they liked. They could only move in the area around the Magic Crystal under their care. Without this rule, if the four murloc bosses worked together, even 100 Big Murlocs would not be able to put up a fight, much less 30 of them.
The players without combat mounts were perfectly free, though. They could go anywhere they liked without any restrictions.
The two sides braced themselves, and the countdown to the battle began.
This was the first time either side had seen this map. (If Li Yi had not participated in this match, this competition location would not have appeared at all. It only showed up because he had passed Tidal Throne.) Therefore, everyone proceeded with caution as they tried to sound things out.
The Dream Guild controlled the 30 Big Murlocs and attacked the location of the first murloc boss, Zambo.
Li Yi was based at the very back, so he could not see what was happening in the front at all. He could receive the latest news through the Guild Channel.
The Big Murlocs had terrifying ATK and STR. They could even capture and devour the opposing players with low HP. Even though all the members of Little Drunk Cat swore to fight them with their lives, they still could not defend the first base. The 30 Big Murlocs made mincemeat of them, causing 53 deaths.
The 30 Big Murlocs forcefully destroyed the first Magic Crystal, and the first murloc boss, Zambo, died automatically. The first battle was over, at the cost of one Big Murloc and 10 Dream Guild members.
The Dream Guild continued to press on. They arrived before the second murloc boss, the Archer Prais.
“Feel the power of the Archer God, Tall and Mighty!”
Riding on the Deep-red Seahorse, Chen Yang charged at the Big Murlocs who were pouncing at him.
After that first battle, the Dream Guild had gained plenty of experience. This time, they only sent one Big Murloc to charge at the Magic Crystal and smash it as hard as they could. They ignored the second boss that Chen Yang was piloting completely.
“Finishing Shot! Resounding Shot! Triple Chain Arrows, Powered-up Spiralling Arrow!”
Naturally, Chen Yang was not going to give them an easy time of it. He aimed at the Big Murloc and fired off everything he had. A few hits later and the enemy was already crumbling.
“Scatter! This murloc’s ATK is too high. Time for a strategy change, let’s all charge ’em and finish him off.”
Having witnessed Prais’ terrifying ATK, Shangguan Bailu immediately changed her strategy. The Big Murlocs all rushed in at once, surrounding Chen Yang and smashing him.

Chen Yang was a mean one too. He gave up on the Big Murloc and ran until he was behind the Dream Guild. He then activated Shoot at Random. Several dozen people could not evade in time and were instantly killed…
“Furious Strike!”
The Dream Guild’s Guild Master, Flower Underpants piloted the Big Murloc and rushed up to Chen Yang. He swung and smashed down his fist, instantly rendering Chen Yang unconscious.
In a battle between players, Furious Strike could only incapacitate players for 2 seconds. However, this was already enough because there were Big Murlocs at the players’ disposal. All they had to do was take turns to rush up and attack him, dealing a lot more damage than one Big Murloc could accomplish alone.
The Big Murlocs all surrounded him and took turns using Furious Strike, keeping Chen Yang constantly unconscious.
“Survival Instinct!”
Chen Yang shook his head and dispelled the stunned effect. He darted away with a “whoosh”.
“Bang!”
Just as Chen Yang was about to break out of their hold, however, a Big Murloc stood in his way. It was Flower Underpants again.
Chen Yang could not get away in time. The Big Murlocs surrounded him again, kicking and punching him in turns. In no time at all, they had Chen Yang laid out flat on the ground.
“Barroom, bang!”
The Magic Crystal that Chen Yang was guarding shattered and the Dream Guild conquered their second checkpoint.
The second match was over. From the Dream Guild, five Big Murlocs and 15 members had died. As for the Little Drunk Cat Guild, aside from the pilot of the third murloc boss, Pretty Good Mood, and the fourth murloc boss, Li Yi, everyone else had died…
“Victory is right before our eyes. Everyone, go—”

Flower Underpants roared with laughter. “Right, let’s do this in one fell swoop, and kill Dark Wing!”
