Before he got close, he heard a grating noise coming from the front. This was not a mermaid’s voice, but a Naga’s.
Tens of thousands of Nagas surrounded a little village. They were armed and raised them their weapons high from time to time while making a few rasping screams.
The first individual that crossed his mind was Fernando the Siren.
Before the Mermaid Princess, Freya became Li Yi’s mount, she was Fernando the Siren’s fiancée. She despised the marriage and would soon escape to the Water World. This story was what had prompted Li Yi to fish her up.
Now that Freya was brought back by her mother, would the marriage proceed?

Li Yi activated God Mode and tried to discern the situation. Unfortunately, there were no yellow dots on the small map, no sign of any players. There were only countless red dots, which were the Naga monsters.

Li Yi kept his God Mode activated as he wandered along the path until he arrived in the Merland. A yellow dot finally appeared on his minimap.

The Merland was tranquil. No monsters in sight. Fernando the Siren had personally forbidden his men to enter the Merland to prevent upsetting the peace.

Li Yi had not expected to see her here. She should be leveling with the help of a band of ‘good guys’.
How had she come here? With her strength, it was doubtful she could pass the territories of the Golden Arrowfish and the Spirit Fish.
While Li Yi was contemplating, another yellow dot appeared on the minimap. A Human Warrior rode a seal mount and swam towards Princess Huaiyu.
“Yu’er, the quest is complete, let’s head to the palace of the Mermaid Queen.” the Human Warrior grinned.
“Thank you, Fifth Brother…” Princess Huaiyu thanked with a coquettish demeanor.

That potion could turn one into a mermaid for three days, and it was only available after one reached the reputation of ‘Worship’ with the mermaids.
Li Yi became a merman and swam to the palace.
His underwater movement speed did not change. The potion’s purpose was only to shapeshift, not to buff.
In the main chamber, Fernando and the Queen were carefully listening to the audience of Tyrant Sword King the Fifth and Princess Huaiyu.
“Human, congratulations on passing my test. From now on, the Naga will regard you as an ally,” Fernando declared.
Two golden lights rose from Tyrant Sword King the Fifth and Princess Huaiyu, and they leveled up at the same time.
“My union with Freya will soon be held. I am worried that conniving rogues will come to disrupt the wedding. My brave allies, are you able to lend me your most noble assistance? Together, with many Naga warriors, we will protect this place.”

The Epic Quest ‘The Protector of Naga’ only allowed players with ‘Intimate’ reputation to take it. Li Yi had completed it in his past life. The objective was very clear, and it was to do as many favorable things as possible for the Naga people. In other words, to work for the Naga and work hard to improve their relationship with the Naga.
