The best part about the game was the exploration. Although the Death God was a god, it was not like she knew everything there was to know either. There was no limit to the players’ intelligence and resourcefulness.
Li Yi believed that there must be a special way to skip the Ruler of God’s approval and become a god directly.

Li Yi had a bit of a clue on how to collect the 10,000 fresh souls that the Death God’s quest required. Killing monsters would not work, so it seemed he had to kill people.
Li Yi tested it out in the wild on the Assembled Gods Continent, killing a boss and a dozen monsterlings. However, the little black bottle did not react at all.
Then, Li Yi summoned Onyxia and flew toward Fluttering Snow City. He was ready to launch a massacre.
He could forgive Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut, but he would never forgive Bai Xiaoya and the Fluttering Snow Alliance members who hunted him down for years in the past life.
By the time Li Yi rode Onyxia into Fluttering Snow City, the scene that greeted him left him somewhat speechless.
The buildings inside Fluttering Snow City were more or less all destroyed. The whole place was littered with the debris and rubble from the battle. Li Yi searched the whole place, but he could only find less than 200 players around.
Li Yi killed every player with Fluttering Snow City written above their heads. After flying above Fluttering Snow City for more than half an hour, he had killed a total of 39 players and collected 39 fresh souls.
This rate of progress rendered Li Yi somewhat speechless. He checked the World Channel and then spoke to Shen Lang for a bit before he realized that after Bai Xiaoya pulled that trick back then, she had abandoned the city and left with the Fluttering Snow Alliance elites in tow. They had never been back since, and their current whereabouts were hard to pin down.
Li Yi searched for them using the Divine Looking Glass and found that Bai Xiaoya was active near the Sea God’s Palace.
Li Yi could not teleport there, and it was too far to go there from Merland. He glanced at the time. It was almost dawn.
Li Yi stood in Fluttering Snow City and a ten-second channeling bar appeared above his head. Soon enough, he had logged off.
When Li Yi opened his eyes and looked around his room, his jaw fell open.
There were at least over twenty bottles strewn across the small table, and the five women were scattered all over the place. Two of them, Jiaojiao and Xu Man, were on the bed. Two more were all tangled up on the floor. It was Qian’er, lying on top of Xu Yue. The last one, Fire Ice, was desperately hugging Li Yi’s waist from behind, and her head was even buried in his back.
The five of them seemed drunk…
Qian’er opened her eyes heartily. She took one look at Li Yi and then put her hand between them as she brought her face to his. She even muttered, “Mine!”
Li Yi stopped, stunned, and just stood where he was. This was a dilemma…
Should he let instincts take over, or…?
