“That’s right.” Slayer’s Heart knew that Qin Ruo was not very fond of such a burden. He explained to him patiently, “This is a war the Angel Faction cannot afford to lose. Not only are our dignity and Honor Points at stake here, but the consequences would be much more severe than that.”
“If we lose for an extended period of time, our position on the Mythical Battlefield will be extremely weak. We might also lose our control over the Buried City. Losing the Buried City will affect a lot of people, including yourself!”
Slayer’s Heart explained in detail why the dissolution of Leagues and Clans would be disastrous. If that happened, players in Angel Faction could then only fight in the form of small parties, while their opponent might be large teams from rival Leagues and Clans. The enhanced impact was especially prominent at the northern wall.
After Black God was lured away up in the sky, the northern wall was now only guarded by a loosely formed party that was apparently less disciplined as compared to the elite parties on the battlefield of the other three directions.
Although Dinosaurcerer had fought courageously and excellently (he detonated a dense amount of Explosive Spiders all around the War Behemoth to push back waves of enemies), he was after all just a Tier 4 player and could only do so much…
Also, the battle just now was nothing but only a warm up for the Demon Faction.
A Tier 5 Aeromancer soon showed up and elevated himself to the same height as the War Behemoth. He then directly cast a Tier 5 AoE spell at the top of the wall.

They were all Tier 5 Champions who had happily stayed behind to conserve energy prior to this seeing that Dinosaurcerer had fared rather well against the previous waves of attacks. Now it was their turn to take over.
As soon as they entered the battle, a beam of holy white light suddenly fell from the sky and shone upon them after Violet Orchid reopened her eyes.
The descent of the glorious and sacred holy light onto the city wall immediately gained the attention of everyone behind and beyond the wall.
It’s the Tier 5 AoE blessing spell of a Radiant Priest.
More than hundreds of Angel Faction players within the perimeter were buffed by the large area spell. All of their stats and attributes were slightly enhanced. The Tier 5 players from Black Jail were also greatly encouraged by the Radiant Priest’s presence and timely support.
