A series of unfortunate events led to a desperate situation for Savior. The so-called strongest player of the Demon Faction was inevitably cornered by several rival Champions.
As compared to the previous ambush set up by Apocalypse and Daisywave, the current assault on Savior was far more lethal since it involved Qin Ruo, Violet Orchid, Black Rock, and more than other ten Tier 5 Champions.
Within only a short instance, the part of city walls initially conquered by the Demon Faction had been “mowed” back by Tier 5 Champions from Angel Faction. Those from the Demon Faction were routed by the rejuvenated Angel Faction players as a result of losing the pillar—Without their spiritual leader Savior, the group of Tier 4 Radiant Priest and Champions were no match for the aggressive Tier 5 Champions from the Angel Faction.
The split-second blunder of the invaders thus granted Qin Ruo, Black Rock, Violet Orchid, Judge, and Subjugator a direct path to reach Savior’s landing spot quicker, along with the horde of Explosive Spiders streaming down the city wall.
The golden-colored Poochie acted like a flash and smashed Savior’s Shadow Barrier from way high up the air.
Six claw marks were immediately formed.

The Shadowmancer Shadow Barrier and Ghost Shield shattered at the same time…
The golden body hung in the air for a while, then it split into four clones and positioned around the falling Savior.

Two giant dragons made entirely of the Earth Element roared in fury as they shot out from Black Rock’s hand. Regardless of whether Poochie could finish off Savior in time, Black Rock did not dare to take chance and decided to prey on the ill-fated Savior. Once Savior was eliminated, the danger suppressing the northern wall would also be halved.
At the same time, Qin Ruo who dove down rapidly from above had also just entered the range of thirty meters from Savior. Three Compressed Frost Bullets were released from his palm simultaneously.

It was more eye-catching than Violet Orchid’s Elemental Wave; sharper than Sword of Kesri: Judgment; and unexpectedly chiller than Qin Ruo’s Frozen Realm.
In that instance, the black whirlpool appeared in front of Savior was like an endless nightmare that spread out infinitely.
The three clones just separated from Poochie immediately disappeared as soon as it came in contact with the mysterious whirlpool.
The same fate befell Black Rock’s Dragon Spears. After those spells were absorbed by the dark whirlpool, it distorted irregularly and immediately disintegrated into the simplest form of an element to be devoured by the whirlpool, leaving no trace behind.
Qin Ruo reacted the fastest.
His expression changed as he instantly deflected the direction of the Compressed Frost Bullets. The bullets made a 180-degree U-turn while he raised his altitude flying backward to escape the mysterious pull.
However, he was still a tad too slow.
Compressed Frost Bullets were all caught by the whirlpool and dissipated. Qin Ruo, too, was unable to stop his downward inertia despite flapping his wings hard.
Not very long later, he, together with Black Rock, Slayer’s Heart, and others nearby was engulfed by the dark whirlpool…

After the dark whirlpool emerged and began to expand, every player from the Angel Faction side shook in fear as they witnessed the horrendous black hole engulf their mighty warriors.
Elements were dispelled wherever the dark whirlpool touched. Not only that, but the whirlpool also seemed to behave like scorching erosive lava. Slayer’s Heart, Subjugator, Judge, as well as Daisywave and Apocalypse who had just been resurrected by Radiant Priest, all had their Elemental and Berserk Shell destroyed as soon as the expanding whirlpool caught up to them. Everyone dragged into the mysterious spell was groaning in agony.
Apocalypse and Daisywave were killed under a second. They were followed by Subjugator, Judge, and Slayer’s Heart.
The dark whirlpool seemed to ignore the player’s defense as their HP dropped insanely quick after impact.
The three warriors fell to their death shortly and each dropped a Dark Gold equipment.
Qin Ruo and Black Rock who were within the spell range could not escape their fates too.
Barrier, then Defensive Shield collapsed consecutively.
The dark whirlpool expanded and deactivated the Angelic Wings.

“How did this happened?” Violet Orchid’s pair of beautiful eyes were now filled only by trauma and disbelief. She found it hard to accept and was rendered speechless seeing the increasing number of Tier 5 Champions lying dead on top of the city wall. ‘What kind of sorcery is this? Dark? Light? A Solarmancer is using a Dark-type Tier 5 AoE Spell? Or is there any other reason? What kind of magic so powerful that could allow Savior, who was on the brink of death, reverse the whole momentum of the fight all by himself?’
Still haunted, those Angel Faction could only see Savior, who was hovering at thirty meters high in the midair looking down coldly at the pile of corpses on the city wall.

Being affected by the whirlpool, they had lost their Perception ability as well. So they could not grasp how bad the fight at their back had gone. What they knew was that there was no place to hide, and they certainly could not hide now!
If they backed off now, the entire northern wall would lose the morale to vanquish the Demon Faction for good. The opponent would also have the chance to resurrect the Tier 5 Champions they had struggled to put down just a while ago. Moonrise City would be demolished if that happened!
The only thing they could yearn for now was that some Radiant Priests would rush to their rescue. Even Tier 4 players were desperately needed. They only had to withstand this round of attack and buy themselves some time to recover, then all would be fine.
Or so they thought. What they did not know was that only one man was left standing behind them after the gruesome battle—Savior.
Not a single player from Angel Faction was not frightened by Savior’s devastating ultimate.
‘A group of top Tier 5 Champions was killed instantly, just like that.’
The faces of those from Angel Faction who witnessed the process paled and they stopped their movements altogether. Only despair was left in their shocked minds.

This spell was as powerful as a quadruple attack!
Forget about a group of ordinary Tier 5 Champions. Even those as strong as Death Jesus would choose to evade rather than confront this over-powerful attack head-on. To be more precise, not a single soul would dare to do that and could come out alive at the end of it.

Thus, it was unimaginable how an Elementalist could compensate for the deficit in health points without any defensive magic.
