All that was left were some troops who had been standing on top of the Void Behemoths, launching a rather lukewarm assault.
The instincts of champions were very precise—Majestic Hero was no exception. At the moment that unsettling sensation arose in him, he suddenly caught a glimpse of two familiar figures amongst the Demon Faction legions laying siege to the city.
“White Eyes!”
“Death Jesus!”
The Hall of Heroes Elites who were standing beside Majestic Hero exclaimed in surprise at once as they recognized the two important Demon Faction figures, inhaling sharply.
Both of them were Deputy League Masters of the Black Witch League and the Maverick Vatican… True Tier 5 Supreme Champions!
‘Wasn’t Death Jesus supposed to be at the north side? Why did he come to the east?’
Even as everyone was left shocked by the simultaneous arrival of two Supreme Champions, Majestic Hero already knew what was coming. With haste, he entrusted some matters to his League before spreading his Angelic Wings and took flight.
Given that the Demon Faction had now aimed to penetrate the eastern side which the Hall of Heroes was guarding, the ensuing battle would be even more violent! Majestic Hero must therefore distance himself—one winged Tier 5 Supreme Champions fought above the city, there was no assurance that they could refrain from inflicting collateral damage, just as there was no guarantee that they would be unexpectedly harmed by the confusion in the battle.
To stop the battlefield from descending into further chaos, Majestic Hero had to leave!
Indeed, it was clear that the opposing pair did not hope to fight in the chaos either. Upon seeing that Majestic Hero was taking to the skies tactfully, White Eyes rose into the air as well, leaving Death Jesus alone.

The offensive effect of the Tier Five AoE spell did not last long, but that abrupt burst of powerful Earth element gravity engulfed an area spanning a hundred meters to the east of the city, throwing off the nearby elemental arrays…
Dozens of Hall of Heroes Tier 5 Champions lost their Elemental Perception at once.
But regardless of the stunning offensive effect and how imposing it appeared, every player was left wondering why that AoE spell did not affect them at all—soon, they realized that Elementalists who had activated dual defenses had stood vanguard on the frontlines above the ramparts and inside the city.
Therefore, pure offensive effect would not threaten the players within the barrier.
However, just as everyone was left puzzled by the Demon Faction’s move, the stage in the eastern ramparts was completely overturned in the very next second!
“Evernight Aurora!”
Someone had shot another Tier 5 AoE attack spell!
Golden light illuminated the night skies of the eastern ramparts at once as if the sun… But for the players within range, what they saw was not light but darkness.
Endless darkness! Every player above the city walls was instantly consumed by that darkness, blinded!
Even if it did not last long, any player could composedly approach the city without being shot at, and approach the top of the ramparts by a range of thirty meters!
“Ultimate Inferno!”
A thrilled chant echoed close to the city gates, just as several Tier 5 Champions standing above the War Behemoths charged rapidly ten meters forward, yelling, “Windstorm Annihilation!”
Leaving the Angel Faction players with no chance at all, the eastern side of the city turned at once into a realm of fire and wind. As Tier 5 Champions entered the battle one after another, Tier 5 AoE spells began to engulf every player on the city walls and inside the city as if they cost nothing!
Then, with Death Jesus’s single Tier 5 AoE attack spell from behind the ranks of the troops inside the city, the entire eastern side was outflanked and collapsed, a point of entry instantly split open.
Dozens of Demon Faction players hence split into two, crashing into Moonrise City from the city gates and the War Behemoths!

When the east had been swiftly boarded, the Demon Faction players to the north were yet to be completely repelled!
As Violet Orchid and Slayer’s Heart watched Qin Ruo and the others sped off, they promptly realized that something had happened…
And as they predicted, they were informed about the Demon’s Faction forcing a push into the city to the east!
“What are you four going there for?” Slayer’s Heart said worriedly into the Party Channel. “Come back! You want to end up like Savior too?!”
Indeed, Savior had been blindly confident in his ability that allowed him to be jointly defeated by Violet Orchid and Qin Ruo—but now, Slayer’s Heart was afraid that Qin Ruo and the others were getting blindly arrogant by that encounter.
“Relax! I’ll be careful!”
Not one to act without thinking, Qin Ruo and his band paused in the skies above the battle zone. Right beneath them, dozens of Tier 5 Demon Faction Champions were retreating along the manmade stairs under covering fire from those in the front.
However, their arrival caused a little uproar amongst the escaping champions!
While the quartet were novice Tier 5 Champions, the Angelic Wings exacted a considerable toll upon the Demon Faction Champions, who clenched at the sight of Qin Ruo and the others flying toward them. Each of them charged magic or aimed their arrows at them, pointing spells and bows at the skies hastily.
Outside the city, Demon Faction players shuffled, approaching the ramparts from the zones they had taken. Working with their comrades standing atop the city walls, they kept those retreating in the center to protect them, denying Qin Ruo any opening to penetrate—but he never intended to attack them in the first place.
Whatever the case may be, their opponent here was a dozen Tier 5 even if they were driven to a corner—Qin Ruo might not really stand a chance even with Black Rock and Apocalypse fighting alongside him.
When he had reached them, Qin Ruo quickly prioritized his attack on the Radiant Priests standing at the rear of a band of Tier Five Champions.
Although they were about to fight an entire flock of champions, Qin Ruo was clearly aware of the Radiant Priests’ importance has he quietly played his part behind the scenes!

As the Demon Faction players hastened their retreat, Qin Ruo did not tarry, and dove down together with Black Rock and Apocalypse.
Everyone above the city walls were stunned!
“Don’t let them come closer!”
The fighters beneath were yelling at each other randomly, with the Elementalists and Bowmasters firing all AoE attack spells and skills, intending to stop the trio from approaching, delaying them for the retreating Tier 5 Champions…
It was a pity that such a move was simply useless against a Tier 5 Elementalist—their every single move was caught clearly by the trio’s Elemental Perception!

“Frost!”
Three shots of Compressed Frost Bullets were fired away.
Black Stone, however was quicker than Qin Ruo and Apocalypse. He directly unleashed ‘Stone Graveyard’ up in the air, the dense clusters of giant boulders hence crashing down over the city walls!
Like Frostfall, even though there was a fifty to sixty-meter gap that exceeded the effective attack range of Tier 4 spells, the boulders landed solidly upon the ramparts, crushing the Demon Faction players beneath raggedly. Several archers who were charging their attacks were interrupted, almost disfigured just as the firepower from the forces below them weakened at once.

Such was Qin Ruo and Apocalypse critique of Black Rock’s move. Still, with the cover their ally provided, they held off some AoE spell as they arrived within thirty meters over the city walls…

Apocalpyse’s Wolfsbane Hurricane appeared with a terrible howl!
Dozens of Tier 4 Radiant Priests were instantly slain by Apocalypse—without barriers cast by Elementalists or Warrior Combat Aura, Priests were indeed a weak class before reaching Tier 5…
Especially when facing Tier 5 Champions.
Qin Ruo’s three Compressed Frost Bullets, meanwhile, darted after the Bowmaster positioned above the city walls, breaking and taking care of them…

Seizing the opening right after the quartet destroyed the Demon Faction’s rear support, they increased their firepower summarily!
At the same time, Black Stone and Apocalypse launched themselves at the ramparts again!
Upon realizing that they were about to be surrounded, the Tier Five Demon Faction Champions could not stop themselves from falling into panic. All of them hurriedly retreated toward the battlements, prepared to escaped down to the ground from the stone stairs before the enemy attacked.
