Subjugator’s high-level Fire Dragon Combat Aura was super effective against the Shadow attribute. Even though he only had Gold Equipment, he was able to tank the damage from the Tier 5 Skeletal Dragons while he shot out powerful golden fiery beams from his sword, severely wounding them. The Skeletal Dragons let out a long, agonizing howl as they received fire damage, one that ignored their Defense and effective against their Shadow attribute.
Seeing him gain the upper hand, Qin Ruo quietly waited inside the Eternal Barrier, not wanting to ruin his friend’s fun. After Subjugator finished off the last Skeletal Dragon, Qin Ruo stretched his wings and flew towards Subjugator.
“So, how was it?” It was Subjugator’s first time visiting the Buried City.
“Hehe, these weren’t enough to satisfy my cravings for killing stuff. I’m off for another round!” As he uttered those last few words, Subjugator rushed to the edge of the summit of the Eternal Peak and dove right into the countless waves of Underworld soldiers below…

Facing the magnificent sight of the Buried City and the seemingly endless waves of monsters, not many players would have been able to contain their excitement.

The latter, covered by a powerful cloak of the Fire Dragon’s Combat Aura, continued on his bloodthirsty skirmish, mowing down his enemies by the bundles with his Combat-Aura-infused sword. He literally cut his way towards the Spectral Shamans by force.
In half a minute, Subjugator leaped up from the ground and charged straight at the Spectral Shamans.
Qin Ruo was stunned looking at this.
Subjugator was not only able to weather the countless waves of physical and magical attacks from the Underworld creatures. He even managed to tank all the powerful magic attacks from the Spectral Shamans. Plus, he did not stop to gulp down potions along the way/ Sometime he landed so many strikes on the Shamans that they could not strike back in time, their bodies juddering back and forth like punching bags. They did not get any breathing space at all.
After he mowed down a few more waves of enemies, Subjugator took a gulp of potion and continued on like an undefeatable Vajra… The first Spectral Shaman was defeated in an almost one-sided battle, slaughtered like cattle by Subjugator. Qin Ruo was stunned. Subjugator was even more of a Berserker than an actual Berserker!
What surprised Qin Ruo the most was his ability to tank that much damage—Subjugator only had a set of Tier 4 Gold Swordmaster Equipment, and they were Damage-oriented equipment too. Yet, he survived the enemies’ attacks like how he would if he had worn Dark Gold Equipment and activated Dual Defense Magic.
“Subjugator, how much is your Physical and Magic Defense?”
After defeating the first Spectral Shaman, Subjugator’s bloodthirst was finally satiated. He lifted his wings and flew up to the sky, ignoring the other ordinary Underworld creatures on the ground.

“My Defense ain’t strong. That was all the doing of the Fire Dragon’s Combat Aura…”
“High-level Fire Dragon’s Combat Aura can nullify twenty percent of incoming Shadow-type Damage, granting me immunity against most Shadow-type Status Effect. Plus, basic Combat Aura raises my Defense too. Tier 5 Underworld creatures aren’t a threat to me. When I’m not hindered by some lowly Underworld creature, the Spectral Shaman becomes but a delicious meal for me.”
