The projectile attack did not go unnoticed. Violet Orchid, Slayer’s Heart, and Qin Ruo exclaimed almost simultaneously, “Be careful!”; “Block the attack under you!”; “Retaliate!”.
But it was all too late. The three swords were simply too quick. They broke out from the soil right under Homme Fatale and penetrated his protective barrier like three giant venomous snakes.
Homme Fatale, who had brought new hope to everyone just a moment ago, did not even groan. The Purple Thundershield wrapping him collapsed instantaneously following the attack as if it was made by a thin layer of paper.
A single attack from the Divine Specter was sufficient to dim the Angelic Wings of Homme Fatale. His dead body plummeted straight from mid-air down to the ground.
