"I can't live without her and I feel like I'm going crazy...Naina...I want her...NOW!!.." he sounded very desperate and impatient while confessing his emotions.
This was something new to experience for him as he was a workaholic and a practical thinker who lived his whole life on his own terms as he never thought even in million years that he'll fall in love so easily.
Naina was stunned and her mind went blank by his sudden confession she was staring nowhere just trying to recollect all the words he said from the start until his confession.
Alok leaned back placing his head on the couch edge he looked out of the floor-to- ceiling window to his right side totally lost in his thought.
Naina recalled his last sentences and she realized that she didn't reacted to his words.
Familiarize herself with the information she took some deep breathes and looked at him. She never thought in her dreams that this Prideful person to look so helpless when he'll be in love.
" I'm sorry for your loss..."she said with a sad expression on her face.
Alok snapped out of his thought and furrowed his brows thinking that he heard something wrong. He straightened his back while staring at her, he asked her "What did you say...'sorry for my loss'!!?"
" Hmm... You lost your heart" she replied with wicked smile on her face.
Alok started to rub his temples with his hand as he's having a constant headache and said in a lazy tone " Then I don't think I only lost my heart...I lost everything."
Naina sighed witnessing a person like him to be so lost and behaving like a CEO of the bankrupt company saying that he lost everything.
"I'm sorry but I can not help you in this...If you can't do anything about it yourself then I don't think I can do anything either ."she said in an apologetic tone.
Alok leaned back lazily like he don't have any energy left in his body anymore and he closed his eyes for a second and opened them abruptly.
" I saw her again...Naina..Please do something. I can't forget her for a second." he said , sounded like complaining to her.
Naina shook her head lightly and replied "Even if I want to...I can't. You're totally doomed.. Man!!"
They sat quietly for sometime without any words. She glanced at him while thinking about something she voiced herself again " You know what , this is the one thing that , I don't want Yuvraj to suffer.."
Alok tilted his head towards her direction and asked her " What do you mean? You don't want him to be in love!!"
"Are you an idiot..? I said suffer....and not... him to be in love. And I know it's a wonderful feeling when the person you love..also loves you back. But trust me Alok!! it's a nightmare for the rest of your life when that person doesn't loves you back..." she said in a friendly manner. Giving some advice to her friend who was newly fell in love..!!
"It looks like you already had a nightmare for the rest of your life.." he said hitting the nail on right spot.
Naina thought it's hurtful to give any advice to her hopeless friend. She cupped her face in one palm of her hand and she was lost in her past memories.
Alok looked at her who looks completely lost he regretted to said that. So he tried to change the topic.
" Your Brother, he's also in one sided love." he asked her.
" No way..." she replied while furrowing her brows thinking 'How could he curse my brother, with one sided love!!'.
Alok chuckled at her aggressive reactions like a defending mother. He sighed and said
" So...tell me his story!!..I really need a distraction. It better... be a good story. Don't make me bored."
Naina's mouth opened at his indecisive words and she felt like hitting his head.
Firstly ,she wanted to ask for his advice to help her but now...that he's totally gone crazy like he said she better ask someone else..but not him , never. Controlling her urge to hit him she warned him " If you want some distraction..go find your love. That'll be of better use."
" Search is going on..but I don't know anything about her. Not even her name." his voice contained a huge mountain of sadness. " Anyway, tell me about your brother. If I can help him to achieve his love."
Now Naina felt like hitting her head " 'Achieve' it's not the company's target to achieve. It's something that needs to be nurtured for your whole life." she replied.
