"Dev Iyer did it purposely." Yuvraj said.
" How do you know?" Manya asked him.
"I met him in the morning." he answered.
" When? You're with me all the time."
"Before you woke up....it was previously decided."
Manya nodded her head while thinking about something she asked him " Yuvi...What was the purpose?"
Yuvraj leaned back while crossing his leg and he replied " It was because of his parents. They were against of him for choosing Design Course. They wanted him to take over the family business as he followed his brothers footsteps and made his own decision. There are lots of issues going in there family and business." as he finished his sentence he picked up the tea cup and took a small sip.
"Hey...Mr.&Mrs Iyer came at our Mansion yesterday. Mom was a little shocked see to them at first. I guess you don't know that." She informed him as she didn't saw him in living room when they arrived and if he had met them before she was sure Mrs.Iyer would not let him go. So maybe he don't know about there arrival at mansion.
" Hmm?I don't..!"he replied and paused for few seconds then continue to sipping his tea.
It was very comman for Manya and Yuvraj to stay at each others place as they spent most hours of the day together sometimes sharing some of their common interests or doing their own stuff but most of the time in each others presence. So they don't say , your home or my home rather than they decided to call the places as our Mansion and our Platina.
"Yuvi...How do you know , Dev!?" she asked while staring at him for the lack of information about their new friendship.
Yuvraj replied " We me two years ago.We were doing a project and Dad selected his design prototype for new car design, after that we worked together for three months."
"Oh...!" she sounded like she wanted to know further but Yuvraj always keeps it short and decisive but other than that she also wanted to ask him something else related to her.
" Yuvi...What do you think of his designs!?." She asked him filled with curiosity to know about his opinion.
Yuvraj smiled at her question he knew that she'll ask him that and he replied " He's good...In fact, you have to work hard to beat him." his suggested her and smiled slightly.
Manya pressed her lips while thinking 'If he said that 'he's good' he must be a talented designer. Not even that he is now studying in design institute under professionals and even worked with Yuvraj on the projects previously. I should have joined the project when he asked me and I don't have any experience other than working on our innovation. I have to do my best but...' firstly, her brows were slightly furred but as her thoughts kept running further , it furrowed deep and deeper. She looked annoyed and tensed.
Yuvraj looked at her brows as the they were knitting more deeper and her facial expression telling him about her thoughts.
So to relax her he said "Don't think too deep. There's always a chance for improvement. If he's one of the best so , you are. You just have to make your portfolio keeping in mind with whom you are competing. You yourself or the others." Encouraging her to compete with herself and beat your own creativity by improving because no matter what , ideas were always growing and improving.
After hearing his words , both the corners of her lips curled up while her brows relaxed completely 'He's is right...whom I'm competing with? Of course, I have to beat myself and improve for my own betterment.' she looked at him with smiling eyes and said " See...That's Why I can't afford you to leave me!? You know me better than myself.." Yuvraj smiled at her words and he asked her eagerly waiting to know.
"Manya...Who told you that I was leaving?" he question her with a serious expressions on his face.
Manya glanced at him and remembered the dinner they had with few friends. It was their first time eating out with them as that dinner caused her a big price to pay. which was , she spent a whole day without Yuvraj as he paid the same price as well and he really wanted to know who was that person is.
Some seconds later Manya answered him " Kunal... told me that maybe you are planning to study in another city..." Yuvraj eyes darkened as he heard her while thinking 'How did he know that!!?We didn't talk about my plans...'Manya guessed that he's thinking how can he be so sure. So she hurriedly completed her sentence "He just guessed about that he wasn't sure himself. And he asked me for the conformation."
Yuvraj raised his brow as he started to tap his foot on the floor slowly. One tap for each second.
Manya knew he was asking for her to explain thoroughly she sigh and prepared herself for the explaining the whole situation.
And she began her speech "While we're leaving and I was waiting for you at the exit gate he came out and approached me while asking about you. I said you were in parking lot to get the car so we talked about you at that time and he said that while guessing about your plan. And I didn't thought about it much as I know you'll tell me yourself....but when I saw my result in morning , my mind went blank and I forgot that he was just guessing the possibility and then that bet....I was a huge mess.... So I asked Aunty to confirm and you know what happened after that." she trail off the remaining story for him make out. Which he did easily.
Yuvraj stopped tapping his feet as his expressions became normal and composed. Now he know that, Kunal just aimed in the dark without knowing himself he hit the right spot.
In reality, Kunal saw Manya waiting for Yuvraj and he already knew that he's in parking but he wanted to talk to her and he don't know how to start the conversations. So he asked about Yuvraj and Manya responded him casually and they started to talk about Yuvraj and he wanted to stretch the conversation until he saw Yuvraj's car coming out of the parking from the corner of his eyes and he ended their small talk and left immediately.
" Wait a minute..." Manya cried out loud.
Suddenly she remembered something as her eyes narrowed staring at him coldly she pressed her lips and said " You already know about my results...? You met Dev, before we talked and he must have told you the about the results..Am l Right..Yuvi!?" she sounded very angry.
