Mahima tried to calm herself, she was scared to the core by his words.
"Vicky....you know, I can't do that. Alok will know and he don't tolerate the treason. "
Mahima tried to convince him.
" Hmm....but you told me, he doesn't want to continue your family's healthcare business anymore but he was the one to signed the deal of, supplying the medical product to Military. You know that deal was mine but I don't understand how he managed to do that."Vivek said while wondering about how his company's contract got reject.
Being an Army Colonel Vivek knows about the requirement of Medical Products used in Military very well, and his family business was stable because they provide the medical product to all the three forces of Military: Air Force, Navy, and Armed Force. They don't have to worry about their business outside the Military as they earn huge profit by servicing the Military requirements.
Alok's Healthcare business was mainly focused on exporting the medical products outside the country. Thus, there was a tradeoff between their family businesses as Verma's business gains profit within country whereas Kadam family gains outside the country. It's a win-win situation for both families but there's a huge risk at the same time.
"I told you the truth and you know him, how unpredictable he is. He won't let anyone interfere. Even Dad was helpless around him." she tried to justify herself and questioned him.
Vivek was posted to East region three months ago and he wanted to renew their previous Contract with Armed force but he was notified that their contract has been terminated this time.
He can not negotiate with Higher Officials to sign the Contract as he don't have the authority to question their decision as he cannot decide the matters related to entire Armed Force and he's not allowed to participate in any business activities others than serving his Post as Army Colonel.
After receiveing the termination of their contract he investigated the matter at that time. He came to know that Alok was involved in the deal and it was surprising for him and two days ago when he received the detailed information he was shocked that Alok was the one to sign to deal as he thought that he won't do that because in the past he never did that moreover he wanted to focus on his other businesses, he didn't thought that he'll be suddenly got his interest in Healthcare business.
He flew back immediately to meet Mahima. He asked her to meet him personally at MJ Hotel in the evening. He acted as he wants to meet her as usual and told her that he'll be fine if her friends also join. He took the risk and prepared everything thinking that he can ask her about Alok as she always talks about Naina and Alok. He placed a recording camera in the living room thinking that if she revealed something about Alok he can use that for his benefit as he doesn't want to miss any opportunity which he can use against him. But he didn't thought, she'll try to drug him. He didn't clearly hear them talking near the bar counter only a few words like Don't do....think...
When he took a sip he immediately knew that she spiked his drink but the drug was not that effective. He sensed her getting nervous so he asked her about Naina as always. Getting a golden opportunity to get the information about the deal he acted until they got into the bedroom.
Mahima intentionally bought her one friend with her as he asked her, for some company. In the past, she knew that Naina was the Vivek's girlfriend and after their breakup, he never dated anyone.
Once,, he asked her to help him get close to Naina by telling her that they broke up but he's still in love with her. But Mahima never intended to that as she always told him how close she's getting with Alok even after knowing that Alok and Naina are just friends.

"I've my ways...Just bring me all the details about the deal and every person, associated with the deal," he said in a commanding tone.
" I think...Naina knows about the deal and they met a week ago." she tried to remember every person, Alok met before leaving to sign the deal.
Vivek pulled her out of his embrace abruptly after hearing her, his grip on the arms getting tighter as his eyes were cold.'Naina knows about the deal.'thinking that his anger rose up.
'WHAT!!?..Naina knows about the deal!?'
