Mrs. Hong is pacing back and forth, Carrie sitted on the the sofa and beside her is Natalie with her head lowered, while Jian is kneeling on the floor.
"What happened?" Mrs. Hong asked without holding back. "What did you do to Nana?"

Jian was speechless, why am I the only one who's been punished?
And his mother is interogating him as if he committed a crime!
"Mom, what kind of question was that?!" Jian asked.
"I am asking you Jian!"
"Mom, it's not what you think, alright?" Jian replied.
"Then, what really happened?"
"Why the two of you slept together in the same bed?"
"How did the two of you met?"
"How did you know each other ?" Mrs. Hong asked questions one after the other.
"Wait, wait, wait Mom! One question at a time please ?!" Jian complained.
"Answer me!" Mrs. Hong demanded.
"Okay Mom, We knew each other when I accidentally hit her with my car." Jian started to answer his Mom's questions .
"What?!" Carrie and Mrs. Hong was startled!
" Brother do you even have an idea what might happened to her?" Carrie asked with an unbelievable expression.
"It was an accident! And besides, I have already taken the responsibility and she was not injured seriously." Jian explained.
"Oh! I can't believe it! If something bad happened to her I might not be sitting in front of you right now!" Carrie said.
Jian knitted his brows, "What do you mean ?!"
"Uh, Jian Gēgē, she's the one who helped me when I was harrassed by the two bad guys the other day." Carrie replied.
Jian's mouth was slightly opened and she looked at Natalie with his stunned expression!

"So, tell me why are the two of you slept in the same bed?" Mrs. Hong started to ask questions again.
Jian snapped back to his senses and looked at his mother again and answered, "She was sick last night and I took good care of her, I didn't notice that I fell asleep beside her. " Jian explained.
Mrs. Hong looked at Jian and narrowed her eyes as if she is sizeing him up.
"Mom! What's with that look?" Jian complained."I am telling the truth! I didn't do anything to her!" He continued .
Mrs. Hong turned her gaze to Natalie, " Is that true Nana?" She asked Natalie.
Natalie looked up with her stunned expression, all she remember was that, she was looking for a place to sleep over but she didn't notice that she's heading towards Jian's place. Her dress was soaked due to the heavy rain and while walking, she already feel unwell.
When she saw a familiar house, she knocked for a few times, just when the door opened , her world went dark and she didn't know what happened next!
"Nana?" Mrs. Hong called Natalie again when she did not response.
"Huh?!" Natalie snapped back to her senses.
"Is he telling the truth?" Mrs. Hong asked again.
Natalie looked at Jian and then to Mrs. Hong again.

Aside from her headache, Natalie didn't feel hurt in any other part of her body. So, she's confident that Jian didn't do anything to her.
Mrs. Hong have a sigh of relief and nodded her head.
"How are you feeling right now?" Mrs. Hong asked with concern and feel Natalie's forehead. "You still feel hot!" She said.
"Oh! I'm alright already Mrs. Hong, thanks to Jian." Natalie smiled.
"Mom! Are you not letting me to get up?" Jian asked pitifully.
"I'm not yet done with you!" Mrs. Hong glared at Jian.

Jian was speechless, Am I really your son? You're more concerned to Nana than me! Jian secretly complained.
Mrs. Hong looked at Natalie again and ask, "Do you want to eat something? I will cook for you." Mrs. Hong asked gently.
"My mom cooked good foods!" Carrie proudly said.
"Uhm, thank you Mrs. Hong but I... I don't have the appetite to eat. " Natalie replied.
"Uh, alright! I know what to cook for you, I'll cook chicken ginger congee. It would make you feel better!" Mrs. Hong suggested.
Natalie just nodded her head. It would be too informal to reject Mrs. Hong. She might get offended.
Mrs. Hong turned and walk towards the kitchen but Jian suddenly speak.
"Hey Mom! Are you not going to ask me what I wanted to eat?" He asked.
"You can cook for your self!" Mrs. Hong replied.
