When Stephen drove his car away, Jian get back inside the house.
He found Natalie standing near the front door with her head lowered.
"Jian, I'm sorry for what happened earlier. I... I thought he was a robber who sneaked inside the house." Natalie started to explain.
"It's alright! He's fine anyway!" Jian replied.
Natalie slowly lifted her head and looked up. "You... You're not going to kick me out?" She asked pitifully.
Jian can't help but curved his lips, " Ha! You're like a kid! I have let you stay in my house because I want to. I won't kick you out for beating Stephen!" He said.
Natalie have a sigh of relief!
Thank God!
I thought his going to kick me out this time!
Natalie thought.
Jian looked at Natalie's pitiful face and he lowered his head and pinched her chin lightly.
"C'mon! Let's clean the mess that you've caused." He said with a smile in his face and then he crouched and started to pick up the broken glasses that scattered on the floor.
Natalie's body stiffened!
She blinked her eyes a few times and unconsciously touched her chin.
No,no,no Natalie! Don't think too much!
Natalie shook her head before she could misunderstood Jian's attitude towards her!
He's just treating you nice because he is afraid that Carrie might disown him as her older brother!
Natalie took a deep breath and tried to calm down.
She crouched on the floor and helped Jian to pick-up the broken glasses.
Natalie would glanced at Jian while picking up the broken glasses, but because she was not paying much attention, she accidentally cut her finger with the broken glass!
"Awh!" Natalie cried and hold her hand!
"Why?!" Jian quickly approached Natalie and take a look at her hand.
"Uh, you cut your finger!" Jian said with concern.
Natalie pulled her hand and said,
"Oh! It's alright! It's not serious anyway! It's just a small wound!"
"Tsk! C'mon! We should clean it to prevent it from infection!" He said and then he grabbed her to the sink and wash her wounded finger.
Natalie stared at Jian, he is not only a good looking guy! He is also caring, sweet and childish sometimes but he is a good person!
Her girlfriend would be so lucky for him!
She thought.
Jian notice Natalie's gaze, he stopped what he's doing and looked at her.
"What are you staring at?" He asked.
Natalie snapped back to her senses!
"Huh?!"
Jian curved his lips. "Don't tell me, you have fallen in love with me?" He joked.
Natalie blinked her eyes a few times, "Ah, no,no,no... I was just thinking that... you....you're such a good brother!"
"You know, I'm the only child, so I've never experience the care of a big brother! But thanks to you! You gave me a chance to experience it!" Natalie explained.
Jian froze when he heard the word 'brother'. He doesn't know why, but he suddenly felt annoyed upon hearing that word from Nana.
Jian violently released Natalie's hand and speak coldly. " Go and continue to clean the mess in the living room! Be careful not to cut your finger because you don't have a 'brother ' who could take good care of you!" Jian said coldly and then he walked away and headed upstairs.
"Eh!"
Natalie knitted her brows she was confused! "Did I said something wrong? We were fine just now but he suddenly changed!" She mumbled and scratched her head.

Jian slammed the door in his bedroom and he slumped on the swivel chair and rubbed his face with his palm.
'Oh c'mon Jian! Why do you feel annoyed when he called you brother?!'
"Aish!"
Jian don't understand his self too!
Maybe he's just not used to Nana calling him brother?
She's just showing her respect to you because you're older than her!
What's the big issue? Huh?!
The other side of Jian's mind said.
Jian leaned his back to the swivel chair and closed his eyes.

The next day...
Jian woke up at seven in the morning, he get up and headed to the bathroom to brush his teeth and take a bath before he go downstairs.
He found Natalie busy of arranging the flowers in the flower vase.
"Where did you get that flowers?" He asked.
Natalie turned her head on the stairs.
She smiled when she saw Jian standing in the staircase. "It's from Mr. Zhou, the flower shop's delivery man delivered it this morning."
Jian's face instantly turned cold but Natalie didn't notice it.
"Throw it away." Jian said coldly.
" Huh?!" Natalie knitted her brows, "But why?" she asked.
"I have an allergy to flowers." Jian lied, but the truth is, he is annoyed seeing those flowers.
"Oh!" Natalie blurted out.
She thought for a moment before she followed Jian's order.
She feel sad for the beautiful flowers.
" Alright!" Natalie said with a sad expression. She took a black plastic bag and stuffed the flowers inside.
Jian watched Natalie with a hint of smile on his face.
When Natalie turned to him, the smile in his face instantly faded and turned into a serious expression.
"I'll just take this outside." Natalie said.
" Let me take it." Jian offered, he walked closer to Natalie, took the plastic bag from her hand and headed outside.
Natalie did not refused, he let Jian carry the plastic bag but her gaze followed him, "Oh! Poor flowers!" she mumbled.
Jian put down the plastic bag on the garbage bin but he notice a note slowly fell down from the plastic bag .
He pick it up and read it.
"A beautiful flowers for a beautiful gangster like you. Have a good day ahead. Hope to see you again."
Jian twitched his mouth.
"Uh! His really an expert when it comes to sweet words!" He mumbled, and then he clutched the note and tossed it into the garbage bin.
Jian get back to the house and notice the box of imported chocolate at the top of the center table.
He knitted his brows and walked closer to the table.
It has a note also saying : A sweet morning to you.
'Uh! I can't believe this guy!' Jian said inside. He looked around and checked if Natalie is around.
When he see no one, he pick up the chocolate, he went outside and tossed the chocolate into the garbage bin.
And then he headed back to his house like nothing happened!
