Just as Mrs. Hong got out from Natalie's office, she bumped into her son Jian!
"Mom?!" Jian was stunned for a moment.
Mrs. Hong was surprised too! Her anxiousness is back again!
"Son!" She blurted out with her eyes wide opened! "How long have you been here?!" She asked.
She was afraid that Jian might have heard her conversation with Natalie.
"I just happen to pass by." Jian replied.
He notice his mother's pale face. "Mom, why do you looked pale? Are you sick?" He asked.
Mrs. Hong touched her face. " Oh! It's nothing. Don't mind me." Mrs. Hong replied.
"Why are you here anyway? And what are you doing in Ms. Zhuang's office?" Jian asked one after the other.
"Umm...I...I was about to go to your office to visit you. But I bumped into her and she invited me to go in." Mrs. Hong lied.
Jian notice his mom is bothered. And she can't even look straight to his eyes when she was talking.
He had a feeling that his mother is hiding something from him?
But, what would it be?
Perhaps , I was just thinking too much?
Jian tried to erase her doubts towards his mother.

Natalie and Abby looked at each other when they heard a knock on the door.
The door slowly opened and Carrie popped out!
"Hi sister Nana and sister Abby! " she greeted them.
"Oh! Hi!" Abby and Natalie replied with a smile on their faces.
"I just want to congratulate the two of you for the being the designer for the winter edition." Carrie said.
"And as a celebration, why don't we go out tonight for a drink?!" Carrie suggested. "My treat!" She added.
Abby and Natalie looked at each other.
"This is not just for the celebration of your success, it's also a welcome party for me and I am inviting the team for the production of your designs, Sister Nana!"
Natalie think for a moment before she reply.
She don't want to reject Carrie, because this is her first time to go out with her and this is the best chance for her to know the people that she's going to work with!
"Sure!" Natalie agreed.
"Sister Abby, you can come too! The more the merrier!" Carrie said.
Abby smiled, "Sure! But... can I bring a friend?" Abby asked.
"Of course! " Carrie replied.
"Thanks!" Abby said.
"Alright! It's all set then! I'll wait for the both of you at the parking area at seven in the evening!" Carrie said.
"Wait! We're not going to changed our dresses?" Abby asked.
"Oh it's alright! It's only us and the team that will help you for the production of your designs!" Carrie replied.

Natalie have a sigh of relief when she did not see Jian inside the room.
Carrie invited only the seniors from the production team and there are seven of them, three ladies and four men.
" Good evening Ms. Hong! Good evening designer Zhuang and Assistant Abby!" The seven people greeted them when they arrived.
"Good evening everyone!" Abby, Carrie and Natalie replied.
The three of them take a seat.
Carrie ordered a drink and others started to sing .
Natalie's peaceful feeling suddenly faded when Jian arrived at the VIP room!
The people who are singing, stopped singing but Jian told them to continue.
Jian sit down opposite to Natalie.
Natalie's heart started to beat so fast again!
When the last song was finished. The employees from the production team, didn't choose for a song again, instead they talked about the TV series that they have watch in the television .
"Oh! I don't really understand why the female lead has to leave the male lead!" Said the female employee.
"Oh! We never know what would happen next to the series." Said the other female employee.
"Tsss... The female lead should have not promised something that she can't fulfill!" The first employee replied.
And then they turned to Natalie, "What can you say about it Designer Zhuang?" The second employee asked.
Natalie froze.
"Huh?! .... Umm... I don't have any idea." She replied.
The two employee turned their head to Jian.
"How about you CEO Hong? The female lead is too cruel to leave the male lead for her own interests, isn't it?"
Jian was listening to the conversations of the two ladies while he secretly watched Natalie through the reflection of the glass table.
"Yes! She's too cruel." Jian replied coldly as he glanced at Natalie.
Natalie held her breath!
She saw how Jian throw her a sharp glance!
"She should have not said a promise that she can't even fulfill. " He added.
Natalie got challenged!
She know that Jian said those words for her to hear!
She pick up a glass of wine and drink it with one go before she speak.
"We never know what's the real reason of the female lead!" She annoyingly said.
Jian looked at Natalie, "And what would it be?" He asked as his gaze sharpened. " To marry a wealthy man?!" Jian added.

Abby was annoyed too!
