The medics transferred Jian to the hospital bed.
The nurses put a drip on him.
They also get a blood sample from Jian for examination.
Jian is still unconscious, until they transfer him to his private room.
Natalie, Carrie and Secretary Wen followed to Jian's room.
After one hour, the doctor came with the results in his hand.
"Who is the patient's family? The male doctor asked.
" I am the mother. " the newly arrive Mrs. Hong suddenly spoke behind the doctor.
Natalie, Carrie, Secretary Wen and the doctor turn their head to Mrs. Hong who is standing in the door.
" What's wrong with the patient, doctor?" Mrs. Hong asked worriedly.
"Oh! The patient has a severe dengue fever." The doctor replied.
"A dengue fever!?!" Mrs. Hong was stunned!
"Yes, dengue is a viral disease that we can spread through mosquito bite, and dengue is one of the world's life-threatening disease." The doctor explained.
"What's more alarming is that, his platelet count is too low to the point that we need to perform a blood transfusion as soon as possible, or else his life will be in danger."
Mrs. Hong and Carrie's face turned pale.
The two of them looked at each other with a worried expression.
"It would be better if there's someone in your family who can be his donor."
"But, nobody of us, have the same blood type as him!" Mrs. Hong said in a worried voice.
The doctor sigh.
"His blood type is rare, even our blood bank don't have available of blood type AB positive (AB+). "
Natalie who is silently listening to their conversation straightened her body.
"Did you say, type AB positive, doctor?" She asked.
The doctor look at Nana. " Yes, and we need it urgently, before his condition worsened.
The patient is too weak."
"I can be his donor!" Nana said without having second thoughts.
Carrie, Mrs. Hong and Secretary Wen turn their head to Nana.
"Nana!"
"Sister Nana!" Carrie and Mrs. Hong blurted out in chorus.
"I have the same blood type as him. I can donate my blood to him."
The doctor have a sigh of relief.
"That is much better. The early we do the blood transfusion, the more the patient have a chance to be out of danger. But we still need to check if your blood is capable for blood transfusion. This is to make sure that your blood is not infected with other diseases that could be pass via blood transfusion. " The doctor explained to Natalie.
"Do whatever you need to do , doctor. If my blood can save him. Then I am willing to undergo to the process." Natalie said with worried expression.
"Alright! You need to come with me to the lab, Miss?"
"Zhuang, Natalie Zhuang." Natalie replied.
Mrs. Hong saw how worried Natalie for her son.
She saw the sincerity in her eyes.
She was touched and she felt guilty somehow.
Five years ago, she told Jian a lie, she told Jian that Natalie left him for another man.
That is when Jian's hatred towards Natalie begin.
But yet, Natalie is here. Willing to do everything just to save her son!
Just like what she did five years ago.
The doctor headed outside the room and Natalie followed but she stopped when Mrs. Hong called her. " Nana!"
Natalie stopped in her track and turn to Mrs. Hong.
Mrs. Hong approached Nana and she embraced her. "Thank you." She said in a faint voice.
"Thank you so much!" Mrs. Hong repeated the word "Thank you " a few times.
She's out of words!
Natalie is such a good person!
That same day, Natalie had undergone all the tests that is needed.
And before the day end, the blood transfusion has successfully done.
When Natalie got out of the room, Abby is already waiting for her outside.
"Natalie, are you alright?"
"How do you feel?"
"Do you feel dizzy?"
Abby asked one after the other.
Natalie just smile to her cousin.
"Of course! Stop worrying about me. I'm fine!" She said to her cousin.
Abby have a sigh of relief.
"Thanks God, you're fine!" Abby touched her chest as if she felt relieve.
"Hey Abby, I just donated a small portion of my blood, why do you worry too much?"
Abby just twitched her mouth.
The two of them become silent when Carrie came.
"Sister Nana!" Carrie called Nana.
Nana turn her gaze to Carrie.
"Carrie!"
Abby understand why Carrie approached Nana, so she decided to excuse her self to give them privacy.
"Natalie, I will wait for you in the entrance. " She said .
And then she turn to Carrie. "Miss Carrie, I will take my leave first."
"Carrie nodded her head as a response.
When Abby left, Carrie walk closer to Nana, she invited her to take a seat in the waiting chair.
"Sister Nana, thank you for saving my brother." Carrie said sincerely.
"Carrie, you don't need to thank me, whoever in the same situation as me, they will surely do the same thing."
"But this is not the first time that you saved him." Carrie said in a faint voice.

"What do you mean?!" Nana asked with her stunned expression.
Carrie smiled. "Nothing!" She paused.
" You're such a good person sister Nana, you deserve the better things in this world." Carrie did not answer Nana's question.
"Sister Nana, I know one day, you will get what you deserve. "

Don't know if she's just seeing things , but Nana notice that Carrie is a bit strange today!

"Please, don't tell Jian that I donated blood for him." Nana said.

"Me and your brother are not in good term. We both know that he hate me. I'm sure he will not like the idea that the blood of the person he hates is running through his veins. It's better if he don't know anything." Nana explianed.
