"This was Rika's idea wasn't it?" Alex responded nastily when Shelly explained that we were doing our volunteer hours at Ben's villa.

"Where's Rika?" Luke asked angrily to Shelly.

'Bathing' I mouthed to Shelly.

"Rika just entered the hot springs," Shelly answered with tears in her eyes.

Alex and Luke knowing that it was 'mostly my fault', stopped pressing Shelly for answers while throwing more threats of what was to come when I came back to school.

Shelly ended the call and stopped acting pitiful and scared, "What should we do next?" Shelly smiled.

I quickly turned on the MueryStation and looked through the options. "How about the otome game called 'Doki Doki Pure Heart Kingdom'?"

"Otome game?" Shelly asked as if she had never heard of the term.

"You'll see." I started the game.

A boy stood in front of the palace underneath the cherry blossom trees on the screen.

[Mika, you're back!] The boy's hair magically fluttered from the sudden breeze.

And three choices appeared on the screen.

Option A: Kick him and say that you don't know him.

Option B: Ignore your childhood friend

Option C: Kindly greet him

"Let's choose Option C." Shelly suggested.

"I think Option A is better because it shows the yandere part of the protagonist." I tried to reason.

We ended up choosing Option A for fun and the scene changed into the boy laughing as he shouted, "Of course you didn't change Mika!"

Option A: Ask him what he thinks of you

Option B: Ignore your childhood friend

Option C: Accidentally bump into him after pretending to trip

"Let's choose Option A." Shelly started to get more immersed into the game.

"We need to stick to the yandere character!"

I quickly chose Option C as the boy catched the protagonist from falling as she blushed in embarrassment.

Option A: Push him and get up by yourself

Option B: Ignore your childhood friend

Option C: Kiss him while pretending it was a accident when getting up

"Option C" Both Shelly and I shouted.

We missed the result of the scene as Ben suddenly interrupted us, "I never knew there were these games in this device."

I pretended to look surprised. "Isn't this stuff from the third district?"

"My older sister really likes things from the second and third district so she hid all these purchases inside this villa." Ben shrugged.

"Not that I touched the things from the third district."

Oh. I ignored Ben to move onto the next scene.

The boy on the screen wiped his lips as he blushed with embarrassment as he tried to get up.

Option A: Push him back down and continue the kiss

Option B: Ignore your childhood friend and get back up on your own

Option C: Kick him after getting up and smile

"Option C!" Shelly and I shouted again while Ben disagreed and yelled, "Option B."

'Shelly was really getting a hang of this' I thought.

"Isn't this game way too abusive for a love game?" Ben curiously asked.

We ignored Ben as the boy on the screen grunted in pain on the ground. [Mika, I know you're excited to see me but isn't this too much?] The boy complained while getting back up.

Option A: Kick him back down again

Option B: Ignore your childhood friend

Option C: Smile while offering to help him back up

"Option B..." Shelly and I muttered.

Ben shut off the TV as Shelly and I glared at him for turning off the game as we couldn't save our progress.

"What?" I asked him with great irritation.

"No wonder your partner has no games in his villa," Ben mumbled to himself.

"Choose another game, I don't want to get in trouble with your partners," Ben answered.

Fine! I went to see the games from the second district.

I picked up a familiar RPG chip and a gun game chip from the pile of games.

"Those are pretty violent," Ben said while he confiscated the chips from my hands.

"Fine then you choose one!" I yelled in annoyance.

Ben chose a game a virtual game that only had sports like soccer and golf. "Are you serious?" I asked.

"Those games are no fun!" I whined while I picked up a chip with bloody swords on it.

"Just go to sleep Rika." Ben sighed while taking away the chip from my hands again as if I was a little child causing mischief.

Ben watched me attentively to see where I would head towards next. "I'm just going to explore the villa with Shelly." I answered his gaze.

I started to explore the resort with Shelly as Ben restricted access to the games. "Isn't that a teleportation gate?" I asked Shelly when we reached the living room in the second floor.

A teleportation gate glowed white as it was filled with mana placed in the messy living room surrounded by things from the second district toppling over each other.

"Yea, I think it leads to the second district." Shelly replied while checking the functions of the gate in the menu.

"Do you want to go inside?" I asked Shelly with eagerness in my eyes.

"I don't think we should," Shelly replied hesitantly while trying to avoid my eyes.

"Then I'll go inside by myself and come back soon." I teased Shelly.

When I was about to step into the teleportation gate, I saw Ben spotting me about to enter the gate while he ran quickly up the stairs and screamed, "Riikaaa, don't you dare enter that gate!"
