"Ethan," I breathed.
He ran up to me and then hugged me. "Cassidy."
"What are you doing here?" I noticed his luggage at my doorstep. "You just arrived? I thought you'll come back next month."
He looked at me at arm's length, "I can't wait going home. I moved my leave this week."
"So you're staying here for a week? Why are your things here? Didn't you have your own apartment?"
"I don't like it there, its so sad."
"So where are you gonna stay?"
"Here."
"Here, here? As in here? In my apartment?"
"Yes yes. You don't like it?"
I stood there immobile and speechless. Honestly, I don't know what to feel if he's staying here, but then again I have decided so I should go on with it.
"Ethan, I'm sorry you can't stay here. It's not appropriate."
"Appropriate? When did you start caring for these things?"
"That was before Ethan. But now, I'm a teacher. I should maintain a good reputation because so many kids are looking up to me!"
He looked dejected, "They won't know. I won't go out. So no worries. I'll cook for you everyday."
"No no no no. Don't even say that. Go away Ethan. Go home. I can't let you stay here." I passed by him, and pushed his luggage towards him.
"Ethan. Go. Home. Now. You are not welcome here." I spoke every word with a poke on his chest.
He grabbed my poking hand and pushed me at the door. He took my room keys. "Really Cass? You're feisty tonight." And then he kissed me. I tried pushing him away, but his body won't budge.
I felt the door give way, a sign he's now opened the door. I ran inside my room and locked the door. I heard him laughing outside.
"Ethan are you crazy? Why are you laughing there?" I shouted at him.
"You are so cute. But baby, did you forget I have your keys?"
Oh sht Cass! Stupid stupid stupid.
He opened the door and looked at me. "Cassidy, I'm sorry. We won't do anything. I'll just sleep here. I don't want to be alone, just keep me company okay? I promise." He looked so sad. Ethan, why? I sighed. I still have a soft spot for him.
"Promise we won't do anything?"
"Yes. Just don't seduce me."
I threw a pillow at him. "I never seduced you!"
He caught the pillow and held my chin.
"But your body alone is enough temptation," saying that while licking his lips.
I wrenched away from him. "You perv!" I pushed him out. "You are going to sleep on the couch. Go! I'm going to the bathroom first."
The night went smoothly. No kissing scenes or seduction episodes. He just cooked his dinner and we slept peacefully. Ethan on the couch, me on the bed. I'm quite shocked of this new Ethan, so understanding.
"Goodnight Cassidy," he said that while carrying his pillow and blanket for the night.
I prepared him an electric fan, since our nights here today sometimes go very hot. "Goodnight, too, Ethan."
When I went to my bedroom door, he called me again, "Cass."
I looked at him questioningly. He walked towards me and kissed my forehead. He looked at me then said, "Thank you. Goodnight."

I woke up from the sound of my phone for an incoming message.
-Minho- Goodmorning Cassidy! I'll take you to school today. Don't forget.
