At 10.40 she reached the meeting room.
There were one or two people at that time. But she didn't pay any heed to him or her, whoever was sitting and started to prepare for her presentation.
Yuerui can do only one work at a time and when she does that all her attention is centered on that work. She becomes so emerged in them that she doesn't know what is happening around her. Same is happening now. She is soo concentrated on her files that she didn't even realize when the whole room became filled with people.
While she was arranging the papers she felt a strange feeling. As if someone is intensely looking at her. This strange feeling made her feel uncomfortable. She thought that after that scandal it's normal that people will look at her since they know that the girl in the picture is her. So she neglected the awkwardness and concentrated on her work.
At 11 Xianwang entered and all the members stood up and greeted him. Since the meeting will start with Yuerui's presentation, she was already standing at the end of the table and doing her work. She nodded silently at Xianwang and retuned to arrange her file.
Xianwang nodded to her as well and took his seat in the main chair.
After everybody sat the meeting started.
Yuerui took her papers and went to present her presentation.
She plugged in the laptop and started her presentation as she took the paper on her desk for her.
When the file was ready for everyone, she began her presentation. But before she could start it Xianwang interrupted her.
"Ms. Mai, a moment please."
Yuerui stopped and looked at Xianwang.
"You already know that we have made got an international project in a partnership with the 'Han', one of the best developing company in Europe. And they will sent someone to our company today." Xianwang said in his clear voice.
All of them nodded.
"Are they sending people to dicuss about the project?" The HR head asked.
"No. Since we are doing this work together, we need to know each other. That's why they are sending someone to our company." Xianwang replied..
Everyone nodded again.
"That's a good approach." Everyone was delighted to hear.
As Xianwang was talking about the new project, Yuerui was busy in fiddling with her papers. Since she will leave in some days, she will not be doing any work on the new project. So she doesn't need to hear what Xianwang is talking. She kept her head down and made herself busy in checking her files again.
"But..." Xianwang said.
"But they didn't tell us that the CEO himself will come to our office."
All the people were shocked. They saw that a man in Black suit with sunglasses had been sitting in the chair beside Xianwang from the beginning. They didn't pay any attention to him before. But now they understand that this person is none other than the CEO of 'Han'.
Xianwang stood up from his seat and introduced him to everyone, "My fellow board members and Department heads, this is CEO of the 'Han', Mr. Han Yefang."

'Han Yefang!' Yuerui lifted her face immediately and looked at the man in black suit.
The man in black suit stood up and removed his glasses making his deep black eyes reveal in front of everyone. His eyes were fixated at Yuerui. The darkness in his eyes was like grasping her tightly. His perfectly trimmed beard was making him more mesmerizing. There was a cold and calm expression in his face which was making Yuerui freeze in her spot.
While everyone was clapping for the guest, these two people were like frozen in time. Looking intensely at one another. One with no expression and the other full of anguish.
"Fangfang...." Yuerui murmured.
'N... No.... You can't be here.' She was so shocked that she tripped on her legs. But she quickly balanced to prevent from falling.
The man in black was still looking at her intently. When he saw her trembling in fright his fingers tremble a little but this didn't surface in his face.
After the introduction Han Yefang shook hands with everyone and Xianwang introduced everyone to him. At last it was Yuerui's turn who was standing at the end of the table.
"And that's Ms. Mai Yuerui, an intern of the marketing department. Since the department head, Mr. Lin Zongguan is absent, she is filling in for him."
"Nice to meet you Ms. Mai." Yefang said.
'Still the same clear voice. Not a single bit has changed.' Yuerui thought. But nothing came out of her mouth. She hesitantly nodded in reply.
"It seems like she is an impressive emoloyee since your department head has given her his spot." Yefang said to Xianwang.
"Actually she's not alone. She and her fellow colleague Mr. Sheng Yunkai are handling Mr. Lin's work together." Xianwang smiled awkwardly. It was his plan after all, to put Yuerui in this spot.
After the introduction it was time for Yuerui to start her presentation.

Yuerui was in no condition of presenting it.
The sharp gaze of Yefang was penetrating through her fragile body making her numb. She kept on fiddling the papers out of uneasyness. She shut her eyes close to calm herself down. But it was if no use. Whenever she sees the pitch black eyes gazing at her intently she begins to falter.
'No, Yuerui, you can't lose. You have to keep your dignity.' she clenched her fist tightly.
"Good... Good morning everyone... I... um... um.. I am Mai... um.. Mai Yue... Yuerui..."
But still it was of no use. Her uneasyness was engulfing her.

Xianwang could see that Yuerui was indeed not looking good. So he granted her a leave for the day.

'Han Yefang!' Yuerui lifted her face immediately and looked at the man in black suit.
The man in black suit stood up and removed his glasses making his deep black eyes reveal in front of everyone. His eyes were fixated at Yuerui. The darkness in his eyes was like grasping her tightly. His perfectly trimmed beard was making him more mesmerizing. There was a cold and calm expression in his face which was making Yuerui freeze in her spot.
While everyone was clapping for the guest, these two people were like frozen in time. Looking intensely at one another. One with no expression and the other full of anguish.
"Fangfang...." Yuerui murmured.
'N... No.... You can't be here.' She was so shocked that she tripped on her legs. But she quickly balanced to prevent from falling.
The man in black was still looking at her intently. When he saw her trembling in fright his fingers tremble a little but this didn't surface in his face.
