After I finished my talk with Hanako, I came running back home at full speed. But instead of seeing my little sister coming out to greet me as usual, I was met with emptiness.
"Mio? Where are you?", I called out to her.
I waited at the front door for a while and heard some voice coming from the backyard, so I decided to walk there. The scene that I saw made me want to prostrate myself on the ground and thank God for letting me born.
My little sister is scratching a cat's chin while wearing cat ears, cat paws, and a cat's tail while meowing. It truly is a marvellous sight. My pure and cute little sister being together with a cat with white fur made her cuteness amplified exponentially. Her cute and unguarded stance evoked my feeling of wanting to protect her even further.
"Meow~ Meow~ Meow~!"
This... this scene is too destructive!!!
"Thank you for the meal...", I said that instinctively.
I realized that I have made a mistake when my sister turned her head around to look at me.

"Nii-sama... stupid...", she whispered to herself.
"Hey, Yuuji. You think she's angry at us?"
"Nah. That can't be it, right? What did we even do? All we did was talking about how to preserve her cuteness for all eternity!"
