The morning after the game ended was extremely painful. The cuts and bruises that I've received are still there. My whole body is literally being peppered by them. Now, I don't even have the strength to lift myself up from the bed. Thus, I decided to skip school for the day and sleep for a little longer. However, before I went to sleep, I noticed something strange about the weight of my body. Somehow, it seems that my body got heavier...?
I turned my eyes to look at the source of the weight and saw Mio lying on top of my body. Ever since that night she asked me to sleep with her, she would occasionally sneak into my bed when I'm sleeping and lies beside me.
"Mio, wake up! It's time for school!", I gently shook her body.
"Meow~~~"
She let out a meow as she rubbed her face at my stomach.
"Mio~~~"
"Hngh... Good morning, Nii-sama."
"It's time for you to go to school, Mio. Wake up."
"What about you, Nii-sama?"
"I think I will skip school today.", I said that as I glanced towards the wounds on my body.
"Then I will also skip school today to take care of Nii-sama!"
"You can't do that, Mio. Besides, our friends are waiting for us, right?"
"Don't worry about that, Nii-sama. I have already 'convinced' them to leave."
"B-But even if our friends aren't waiting, our parents definitely won't allow it, right?"
Just as I said that sentence, the door to my room opened up.
"Sorry to eavesdrop, Yuuji. I heard that Mio's going to skip school to take care of you, eh? What's wrong with that? But remember, the walls are thin, okay?", our father popped his head into my room and then immediately left after saying those words.
"Ah~~~ It's fine then, I guess. Do whatever you want, Mio. I'm going to sleep for a little bit longer..."
"Then, I shall accompany you, Nii-sama."
As she said that, I began to close my eyes and drift off into dreamland. Just as I was about to fall asleep, I felt a soft sensation on my lips. What I felt was soft and warm. Just like the warmth of the sun. It eased my body and helped me relax. Thus, I gradually fell asleep.
"I love you, Nii-sama.", whispered a voice.
Sadly, that voice was never heard, as the target of affection was already asleep.

I woke up again when Mashiro pounced on me.
*Meow*
"Ah~~~ You're hungry, huh Mashiro? I guess I'll fix up something for you."
As I started to get up from the bed, I felt something grabbing onto the hem of my shirt.
"Meow~~~"
My sister groaned as I was trying to leave the bed. I smiled at the sleeping face of my little sister. Then, I patted her head. She smiled happily in her sleep, however, she did not release my shirt. Thus, I said to her,
"Sleep here, Mio. Your brother is just going to fix up some food. Have a good sleep, Mio."
Then, I gave her a peck on her cheek and removed her hands.
Hah~~~ Even when she's sleeping, she can be quite charming, huh? That defenceless body of hers, snuggling up against mine in her sleep. That scent of her that can grant me the peace of mind. Ah~~~ I'm having such a good life~~~
Cough, cough, I'm getting sidetracked here.
I proceeded down the house and into the kitchen. There, I poured some cat food down into the food bowl for Mashiro and cooked two servings of katsudon for me and Mio. Just as I was about to go wake her up, there was a knock on the front door.
"Onii-chan~~~ Do you still remember me?"
This voice... Could it be...
"Fufufu~ I'm here for you, Onii-chan ♪"
