I looked at Hanako's face. It seemed that she was beside me this whole time. I can still see the tears that stream down her face.
"W... Where am I?"
"My house.", she replied flatly.
"Uh... It must be the damage to my brain. It seems that I couldn't hear you very clearly. Where am I?"

"I-It can't be helped, can it? Since you were knocked out, I need a place to take care of you, and since my house is closer than yours, I decided to come here."
Once I have cooled myself down, her reasoning does seem plausible.

"It's already quite dark, you know? The last train already stopped running."

Ever since Hanako entered high school, she decided to stay in a dorm. She used the money that her father sends her every month to pay the rent and buy her daily necessities. That's why the room is quite small, and there's only one bed. Her Dorm consists of a bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom. All of which combined is only around 30 sq.m.

"G-Goodnight, Yuuji."
I heard some rustling behind me, which is the sound of Hanako opening the door to her bedroom.
Sigh... Despite that it's still September, the temperature at night is still cold, huh?
"Yuuji?"
"I-It's nothing. Don't worry about me."
Hanako called out to me in concern. She must've seen me shivering on the couch.
As I dismissed her, I heard a few more rustling and then saw Hanako coming out of her room again.
"Sorry, Yuuji. I couldn't find a blanket for you. The other one has been sent to the dry cleaning service. It should be returned to me on Wednesday.", she said apologetically.
"D-Don't worry Hanako. It's not your fault. Besides, you're not expecting someone to come sleep over at your house, right? It's only natural."
When I glanced at Hanako, it seemed that she was unwilling to accept my explanation. After she fiddled with her fingers for I while I saw a resolute look in her eyes.
"Nee~ Yuuji."
"Hm?"
"How about we sleep together?"

Even though I wasn't drinking water, I almost choked myself.
"W-What are you saying, Hanako? You know that it isn't possible, right? I mean, we're both quite mature now..."

Since the temperature is quite cold, it seems that I should take up on her offer then.
