As soon as I woke up, I was startled by a call,
"Oi, Yuuji! Hurry up! The culture festival is starting soon man!"
"Wha?!?! Wait... How come I didn't notice our classmates do any preparations during the previous week?"

When I hoisted my body up from the bed, Mio is still clinging on to me. Her sleeping face is very cute and vulnerable. It made me want to stay like this forever. However...
"Sorry, Mio. Your brother has something to do at school. See you at home, okay?", I whispered those words to her as I used my right hand to pat her head and my left hand to pry her away from me.
Once our bodies were finally separated, Mio curled herself into a ball. As leaving her like that might make her catch a cold, I put my blanket over her as I started to change into my uniform.
"I'm off!"
I said that to no one in particular before I head off to school.

"Heehee~ Nii-sama is going to school to prepare for the culture festival, huh? I better give him a nice surprise!"
A voice muttered to herself as she climbed down from her brother's bed, a smile forming on the corners of her lips.

"The customers from table no.11 are leaving, someone please escort them!"
"Two omurice orders from table no.16!"
The chaos within the classroom during the culture festival is expected. I, who is in charge of cooking together with Haruto, is now sweating profusely from all over my body. The smell of omurice has already been stuck on to me due to the long period of being in the kitchen.
"Two servings of Omurice are ready!"
"Thanks, Yuuji!"
"Another three is ready!"
"Ossu!"
"Another two is done!"
"Okay, Nii-sama!"
As I was about to continue cooking Omurice, I turned towards the counter due to hearing something I'm not supposed to hear here. I could just dismiss it as my own imagination, but the owner of that voice may very likely be here for no reason at all...
"Mio?!?! What the heck are you doing here?!?!"
She stuck out her tongue at me for a moment before heading off to serve the dishes.
