"Let's skip school today."
"Uh... why?"
"Meh~ I just felt like it."
"So, what are you going to do during the day?"
"I'm thinking about going to the mainland to have some fun. You comin' with me?"
"Fine~ Let me pack my things a bit."
"Sure! Let's meet at the port at 9:00."
After the short conversation, I went back to my house and quickly stuffed enough clothing for a few days. After that, I went to the port to wait for Hanako.

"Good morning, Eiichi-san!"
"What are you doin' here, Yuuji? Don't you have school?"
"I don't feel like going to school today..."
"Ma~ I understand that, kid. I used to be like you when I was still in school. So? What brings you here today?"
"Ah~ I was thinking about going to the mainland with my girlfriend today. Would you mind helping us get a ride please?"
"I... don't want to get fired, kid. If your dad finds out about this, I might get fired..."
"How 'bout I buy you some good liquor from the mainland when I get back, old man?"
"I'll go get the boat ready."

While waiting for Hanako, I gazed towards the horizon. The dazzling blue sea that reflected the light of the sun is shining like a precious aquamarine. The sound of the waves crashing against the dock reverberates through the air, creating a sense of tranquillity.
After a while, Hanako appeared in sight, wearing a white one-piece dress, dragging a small suitcase behind her.
"Let's go, Yuuji!"
"Un!"
Thus we both stepped onto the boat and began our journey...

However... the 'boat' that we stepped on was more of a small yacht. There is even an air-conditioned room installed on it!
The breeze of the sea made Hanako's hair flutter in the wind. It was a sight to behold seeing Hanako, who is a great beauty herself, standing on the yacht, grabbing onto the railing, gazing out to the sea. As much as I'd like to appreciate this moment, my sea-sickness forced me to focus on suppressing the urge to vomit instead. Sigh... Why must I have this kind of weakness...?
"Oi! Old man Eiichi! How much longer until we reach the mainland?"
"A few hours at most, kid! Don't whine and go smooch your girlfriend or something!", old man Eiichi gave me a hearty laugh as he said that.
The trip was fine for the first couple of hours, however...
"Oi! Old man! Is that a storm I see?"
"It sure is, kid! We're screwed!"
"Oh, come on!"
Seeing the storm, Hanako grabbed onto me tightly, not having the intention to separate from me. We both then went into the air-conditioned room and waited for the storm to pass but it was futile. The storm only grew stronger as it approached us, and in the end, we were caught in the storm and got washed away...
