Gengxin was already doubted once by his brother, now with another suspicion from him, his heart shattered in ache. He tried to control his pain and sorrow, hugged his brother and cried out "Brother, Don't doubt me again".
Before leaving his brother from his arms he continued his words in sad tone "At times I too got confused, but I never managed to recognise her. I really knew nothing about her except for the truth she lived out of this country".
Yifeng felt really sorry for his brother but never put an expression on his face. He always kept doubting Gengxin for petty things and ended up hurting him. He turned and walked back towards the exit of the room when he heard "You think...you can make her yours now?" in a hesitant tone.
Yifeng who loved only one person all through his life and really wanted to make her his woman, at any cost no matter what happens. He decided to take any kind of extreme step even if it ends up ruining himself in order to get her.
"I will" Yifeng sounded confident enough that Gengxin's fears vanished instantly.

"Yifeng..." Ziwei sounded anxious on seeing Yifeng walking down the stairs. Ziwei, who hated Yifeng for being ruthless to her, finally detected that someone turned him into a rude guy. She wanted to change her opinion on him as she already noticed his true colours and also experienced his warmth even if its only for a single day. Her concern made Yifeng to feel a special warmth spread around him and immediately ran towards her. Her dress and make-up looked very simple but his eyes stared at her in amusement which made Rushi to remember the words her elder son said when he walked her out of his study room. "Mom, don't worry the only girl I ever truly loved was the one living with me. Please take care of her for me".
On realising Yifeng's longing gaze towards Ziwei , Rushi cleared her throat and said "Yifeng, I and Gengxin will take her to hospital. You take care of yourself" and noticed Gengxin walking down the stairs. Gengxin who unaware of his mother's presence in Ai villa rushed in, but later reported to Rushi that Ziwei needs to go through a quick check up and he had come to take her to hospital. Rushi who doesn't know about Ziwei's actual condition blindly believed Gengxin and wished to go along.
With his mother's words Yifeng snapped back to senses and caressed Ziwei's head and said gazing into her eyes "I fell unconscious just because I tired myself from work, don't worry. I'll visit you in the evening".
To Ziwei, Yifeng's words sounded so loving and caring that her heart skipped a beat and mind instantly fell dumb and she ended up nodding her head with sparkling eyes gazing back into his eyes. It was the first time to feel true love in his words by someone who only experienced his fake act of loving in front of the old lady.
Ziwei felt the special feeling of being loved by a man for the first time and his brushing on her head brought slight shivers to her body. But in her mind a thought of "You shouldn't mistake his actions, he's being good to you just because you're injured" took birth which brought her heartbreak.
Rushi helped Ziwei get up from sofa, wrapped her arm around her shoulder and started to walk along with her, but Yifeng immediately lifted Ziwei with his arms sweeping her off the ground which made Rushi to smile on seeing her loving son and Gengxin to gaze at his brother acting overjoyed. Gengxin fell into a perplexed situation and thought if he should just stay calm and hide things from his brother or to spill out the beans. Yifeng with Ziwei in his arms walked out of the villa and headed towards Gengxin's car that was parked outside the gate while his mother and brother followed him.
Gengxin ran past his brother towards his car and opened the door and just then a crowd started to surround the car. With just a little glance, Yifeng spontaneously noticed them as reporters and hurriedly placed Ziwei in car and turned back to find his mother stuck in between and getting crushed by the increasing reporters. Just then Gengxin reacted fast and got into the car to accelerate ahead. Yifeng made with lot difficulty, himself a path through the crowd to reach his mother and somehow got her into the car.
All along the time, both the brothers acted in a rush when a pool of questions drifted into their ears.
"Mr.Liu, Is Mrs.Liu really your brother's ex girlfriend?"
"Ms.Ziwei, do you admit dating Dr.Liu before your marriage with Mr.Liu?"
