"Just who are you? Who are you to mess with me?" he spitted out his words in anger, his eyes turning red at the rim. He tried his best to control his emotions, but her words from last night continued to repeat in his mind which made him to lose his temper.
Her whole body trembled with his voice ringing in her ears loud. After a while, she couldn't help but whine on feeling pain on her chin.
The pain he gave to her was totally negligible than what he experienced because of her. But her little whine made his body to loosen up and he pulled his hand off her chin throwing her face to a side. He stood up wishing to leave the place immediately. But deep inside his heart ached seeing her in such a painful situation.
She felt her head spinning and on still sensing his presence around her, she closed her eyes and prayed in her heart for him to help her. He thought back to the time how depressed he got after what all she said. Though her words made him to get hurt but now his heart couldn't tolerate the pain of seeing her hurt and cry. He who was about to walk away, stopped and lowered his body again to take her into his arms.
She widened her eyes with the sudden floating feel and his touch she felt, and then turned to look at her handsome husband who was staring at her face. Her eyes filled with tears and cheeks with lines of dried tears made his heart to drift. He pushed her upwards to have a better grip around her body which instinctively made her to wrap her arms around his neck.
Without much thought in mind, he rushed out with her in his arms and when he was about to reach his car, he signalled his assistant who was waiting for him to open the door.
His assistant was stunned on seeing his boss and stood still until he was called again to open the door.
His assistant opened the door for his boss and after closing the door he rushed to get into driver's seat.
He stepped on the accelerator without any instruction from Yifeng and hurried ahead.
Yifeng lifted her legs slightly to place them over his so as to prevent their contact with the floor. He hurriedly picked some tissues to press down on her head to stop the bleeding. His assistant who was only aware of her bleeding head, took the route to nearby hospital. In less than ten minutes, they reached a clinic.
His assistant got off the car and opened the door for his boss.Yifeng got out with her in his hands and rushed in after signalling something to his assistant.
The assistant quickly understood what his boss's expression meant and went towards the reception to fill the necessary forms.
Since its very early in the morning, there were none at the clinic and Ziwei turned out to be the first patient. He rushed into the doctor's room with her in his hands without making any prior hint of entering. As Yifeng didn't take any concern in signing the forms, his assistant signed them before waiting outside the doctor's room.
On seeing Yifeng rushing in, the doctor first frowned his brows and later understood the situation after Yifeng started explaining about Ziwei's wound and sprain while putting her on the bed nearby.
The doctor cleaned her wound on the head and applied some ointment over it before applying a bandage. After a little check on her ankle, he got back to his chair leaving her on the table. Witful Yifeng followed the doctor and sat infront of him.
"She lost a bit more blood than in usual cases, but its okay. I'll prescribe some medicines, But with the sprain....." he stopped hesitating which made Yifeng tensed. After a few seconds the doctor continued "I don't understand how she managed to endure the pain. She needs rest....." The doctor said more than what Yifeng actually expected, which he didn't understand but made him to realise that her condition seems a little complicated.
He carefully listened to everything the doctor said even if he didn't understand and walked out of the room with her after she got her ankle bandaged.
After they got out of the doctor's room, he lifted the limping lady next to him and took her into his arms and walked out of the hospital taking large strides with his long legs.
On seeing him, his assistant rushed out following him.
After getting into the car, a brief moment of silence ended in the running car with words of the assistant "Boss, the contract renewal...."
"Cancel all the meetings for today" After a few seconds he continued "Bring the documents that I need to check".
His assistant knew what his boss meant, so he turned the car to reach Ai villa. Yifeng took her upstairs and placed her carefully on the bed of the master bedroom after entering into the Villa.
Its only then when Ziwei took a proper frame of Yifeng's long body who had never raised her lashes to look at him from the time they left the villa an hour back.
When Yifeng was walking down the stairs, he noticed his assistant standing in the living room with the medicine bag in his hand. He rushed down the stairs to reach his assistant. Taking the medicine bag from him, he said "Bring the documents needed and don't let a word out about her, especially to Mom. Got it?" in a cold tone.
Just with the look on his boss's face and the picture of the table in the living room, Wu Chun guessed the thoughts going on in his boss's mind and he just nodded saying "Yes.., boss" without making much scene.
After his assistant left, Yifeng walked into the kitchen to get some water from the dispenser. While walking out of the kitchen, he looked at his sides to find a pan with the soup she made before.
He soon walked into living room to bring back the bowl of cold soup Ziwei placed before and throwed it into the kitchen sink.Then he walked back into the bedroom with water and medicines.
He hurried his every movement inorder to restrict his mind from thinking too much that could lead to hurting her again. Ziwei, who fell into thoughts, came back to her senses and shut her eyes pretending asleep on hearing him opening the door.
"Don't think I'll leave you, just because I cared for a while. I would never forget what you said last night" he said in a low tone but his eyes filled with anger while entering into the room. On seeing her with closed eyes, he noticed her faking sleep.
After a few seconds he continued "There's no need to pretend and there's no way I'll fall for your act. I promise I'll make you experience what hell looks like while living" in a growling voice placing the glass of water and medicines on the table next to bed. Immediately he turned and walked back into the kitchen. Soon after he left the bedroom, Ziwei opened her eyes raising her stiff body from the bed and sighed calming herself.
